Momo's POV

          I was sitting at the steps in front of our dorms as I brought my knees close to my chest. That's when I heard some foot steps getting louder and that someone was walking towards me.

"Hey Momo, you okay?" Awase came up to me and sat beside me. 

"No..not really.." I sighed.

          Today is Valentine's Day and almost everyone has someone they love with them. Most of our classmates have a special someone for today and it just makes me feel a bit lonely. 

"Is something wrong??" 

"I don't know..I just feel lonely. So many of us have a special someone but I don't have one yet." I said.

"That's true, it's Valentine's Day afterall. Although, I thought you would be out with Todoroki or something today." Yosetsu replied.

I looked at him in confusion, "What do you mean??"

"Are you saying that you and Todoroki aren't a thing??" He raised a brow.

I laughed, "You do know that he's not someone who's into romantic love, right?"

"W-Well I just assumed he at least had some interest in you.." He stuttered.

I shook my head as a no, "His focus is training himself to be a Pro Hero. He's not like us where we can still insert some romance in our lives, but I did had a little bit of a love interest on Todoroki for a short period of time."

"And then you stopped?"

"Yeah, I gave him a box of chocolates a while ago and confessed to him today. It turns out that him having no love interest is true. That's why I'm here, to just...be alone..until you came in." I said.

"O-Oh...I'm sorry.." 

"Don't apologize, it wasn't your fault."

"But still, you could've ended up having a great time like everyone else but it turns out the wrong way." Yosetsu spoke.

"How about you? Aren't you supposed to be with someone special today, or are you just like me??" I chuckled a little.

He did the same, "Yeah, there's this girl who I have a crush on but I have a feeling she wouldn't like me back."

"And I bet that crush of yours is me??" I smirked.

Yosetsu looked at me in surprise, "U-Uhhh...how did you--"

"Your friends are pretty much blabber mouths sometimes even without them knowing." I giggled.

His expression then turned to a bit of anger as he mumbled, "I am so gonna kill them."

I laughed, "It's fine, Yosetsu. I'm completely fine with it., it's just shocking knowing you would like someone like me."

"How is that shocking?? I bet the whole school would go head over heels for you. You're like one of the most beautiful and cutest girls I know. On top of that, you're very kind and smart." Awase smiled.

"Are you confessing to me now or..??" I snickered.

He blushed furiously and looked away, "I'm just pointing things out. Besides, how long have you known I had a crush on you?"

"Not long. Just enough to know that you're in love with me, that's all." I giggled.

Yosetsu playfully rolled his eyes, "I really should just keep my secrets to muyself, huh?"

"Yeah, probably. But without me knowing you have a crush on me, I wouldn't be able to know that you like me back the same way." I giggled.

He looked at me with shock, "You like me back?? But I thought--"

"When I realized I like you too, I wasn't completely sure who my heart belongs to. So at that time, I guess you can say I was debating whether to choose you or Shoto."

"But you went with Shoto because..??"

"Because I thought if I at least tried, maybe he and I would have a chance...but turns out my chance is only for you." I winked at Yosetsu which made him blush.

Awase and I were now shy around each other as we both don't know what else to say.

"So...I guess we're both alone today for Valentine's Day, huh?" Awase spoke.

"Yeah, I guess so too."

"Wanna go hang out together?? Just so it wouldn't be too lonely for us." He chuckled.

"I'd like that, but I have one question though."

"What is it??"

"Are you asking me out on a date??" I tilted my head to the side.

Awase's eyes widened and softly smiled as he stood up went in front of me, "Do you want it to be one? Because I don't mind asking you out on a date."

He pulled out his hand for me to take and I giggled, "Then a date it is."

I took his hand and stood up. We were both slightly blushing as we both walked with our fingers intertwined together.
