Chapter 26: Oh Shikamaru

I was only a mile away when the ground rumbled a little, the sky suddenly became darker, it started to rain and that worried me.

I ran as fast as I could, I needed to make it in time to stop him, or at least have him promise me something.

I ran as fast as I could to make it to them, I felt like my legs were about to give out, they felt like noodles, but I kept on pushing.

I finally made it to the clearing and there I saw, Naruto on the ground and Sasuke was about to leave.

"Wait! Sasuke" And I threw myself at him but he was quick, he slid to the side then he grabbed me by my injured arm, "Owwch" and I was facing him and he kept on squeezing it

"Dumb, you can be smart but dumb Imoto, I thought you were just going to let me be, why the change of heart?"

I took a deep breath, and I looked up at him, and I smirked as he fell to the ground, he fell for it he looked into my eyes.

" Damn it Y/n!" And I was about to start casting a harder gen-jutsu when someone had a knife to my throat.

"You will release him and let him go away. Understood!"

I knew something like this could happen but I'll play his game. I did the release sign and Sasuke sat back up but when he saw the position I was in, his eyes went wild, and he got the nearest kunai, "You bastard, let HER GO!!"

And the guy let me go and I turned around to see his face.

"I knew it had to be you, Sparrow"

He had a devious smile, "Princess"

And he looked at Sasuke and said, "Come with me, Lord Orochimaru is waiting for you. Oh and Y/n you know it's his destiny, that's why you let him go the first time and you'll do it again since you know you can't fight me that well since I will assume you have healed most of your teammates" Sparrow said as he walked into the woods.

I was out of options, I didn't want to hurt them, well I didn't want to hurt Sasuke, Sparrow can die for all I care. He started to walk away, 'say something, anything, don't let him fall into the darkness too much, and keep your promise to him, but keep it how I want it to be'.

I walked towards him "Wait, Sasuke!" I said as I turned him around, once he met my eyes his softened a little

I knew what I had to say but I couldn't say it so it came out like this. "Before you kill Itachi, come to me" he scoffed at what I said and got closer, "You just want to protect and save him, so no" and then I heard Sparrow say "Sasuke do it now" and I knew what was going to happen so I was quick.

"I can tell you why on that day, why Itachi Killed the whole clan" and then I felt a sharp pain, and I looked down, Sasuke had stolen one of my poisoned kunai a few days ago, and now it has been used against me.

I looked up at him and he was in utter shock at what I had just said but it was too late. I felt the world around me spinning and I fell into my own darkness.
