Chapter 7: Gone too soon

Y/n p.o.v

It was a Saturday, tomorrow I would go back to Konoha and to the academy. Over the past month, I have been training a lot. Mostly with Shikamaru, his dad Shikaku gave me a book on the Nara clan and their jutsu's. I'm the first outsider to ever really know, but he gave it to me because he trusts me and to help Shika train. So far, his shadow got bigger. And my eyes have started to turn in to rainbows when training, so that means my Prismatic training is paying off and activating plus Genjutsu training with Kurenai sensei. I think Uncle Asuma likes her or something.

Right now, I was in a field, close to the eastern woods. I wanted to have a picnic with my family before I left, we wanted to go alone but Grandmama sent us with two guards. Typical Grandmama, always worrying about us. We were about to pack up when a kunai came to my direction, my mom quickly rushed in front of me blocking it with her own. My parents never left the house without ninja gear on them. I noticed one of the guards knocked out, the other was still standing protectively near Tori "GO NOW FOR BACK UP" my dad ordered him as he ran to find the nearest station of guards. We were 45 minutes from the nearest town "I knew it" my mom said as a man came out of a tree. It was Mr.Vox!!!

He went straight for my dad. "Why?? What have we done to you" my dad said I heard the sadness in his voice "I would be a better king." Kunai's clashed and they immediately started to fight "Riker I know everything about you, I can kill you, then your wife, and children. With all of you dead the fighting spirit of your family will die" said Vox as he laughed like a mad man. I felt Torri hold my hand, she was shaking and crying silently. Then I felt something warm on my face, dripping down. My mom turned around and hugged Tori super tight and said "Victoria Mommy and Daddy love you so so much never forget that okay. Grow up to be the best person you can be" Then she let go of her and she looked at me. Tears fell from her eyes, she hugged me tight "My Sweet Child there is so much I want to tell you. Remember me and Dad will always love you no matter what. Be strong, have courage, be kind, and always treat others with respect. I know you'll be a great person and ruler of this place someday. Take care of your sister. As for the question you asked me last night, you will someday, find someone like daddy, and follow your heart and instincts" My mom let go of me and looked me straight in the eye "Now I want you to take your sister and run as far as you can into the forest, hide, and come back in an hour, reinforcements will come at that time." Mom pulled me and Tori in one last hug "I love you both very much" "I love you too" me and Tori said at the same time "Now I have to go help your dad, RUN"

I held Tori's hand tight and ran, ran as fast as I could.

Shikaku's p.o.v

It was my day off I was laying next to Shikamaru, we were cloud watching when I heard Rebecca calling me in my mind. So, I closed my eyes. I was now in a trance. I was in a white room and she was there too "I have not time to explain but this is my final message to you. Please watch over my children, thank you for our friendship, I am currently in a fight I know I can't win, forgive me. Now try concentrating on what I can see." I was didn't want to believe what she said, I concentrated and my eyes and hers were linked. Riker was now covered in his own blood Rebecca had cuts everywhere.

I shot up from the ground and left a wondering Shikamaru and ran back in the house "Yoshino there in trouble, I'm going to request to go there immediately" and I ran out the door

Y/n p.o.v

It's been an hour and I was carrying Tori on my back; I was close to the fields. As I ran down the hill, I saw them. My dad was on the ground covered in blood, and bleeding out from his side. Vox had my mom at the neck, a sword went right through her heart. No no no no no no no this is not real I kept saying to my self my heart was racing, my eyes became blurry and full of tears. I let go of my little sister and ran down the rest of the hill "MOMMY DADDY" I was a few feet away when Vox let of my mom, she fell in front of me, her eyes rolled back. She was dead. And there was nothing I could do. I started to sob when "SISSY" Tori then screamed. Vox had her by the neck. She was choking. I ran to them "LET GO" I started to punch Vox, "LET GO" I looked back at tori and she was starting to turn blue. "I said LET GO" I looked at him and he looked me in the eye. Then he let her go and yelled. I felt my eyes change "YOU BRAT, YOUR NOT EVEN IN TRAING FOR THAT HOW??" I picked up a kunai from the ground and looked at my reflection, my eyes kept changing from my normal E/C to the Prisma eyes, a rainbow. I ran to Tori and she started to get color back but is passed out. Just then the guards go there. "GET VOX NOW" I heard General Castillian say.
