"Why did I agree to this" was all I mumbled as miss Lilac did my hair and putting in my tiara and Kureni did my nails, it was 7 in the morning "I should be training!!!"
*A few days earlier*
An Invitation to the rose party came. And today me and Tori are going to discuss it with gramps, We were now waiting for him to see us.
We were called in and "Let's get to the point" I said, gramps nodded "So the Rose party is coming up and this year like always Victoria will go by herself and I will just send some cash to the elders and its done, thanks and see you later old man" I was walking out and someone stopped me, It was Gramps "Your old but you move fast" he turned me around "It's been four years, it's now or never, Tsarina will have it out with me this time. It will be okay, you'll have Tori with you, Kureni will be with you, Lilac is coming, and I'll assign one of your four teams to accompany you".
I let out a shaky breath "Fine but it's a five-day thing, I'll only go for Saturday and Sunday and be back by Monday and I would like a mission once I get back. And I'm fine with anyone but Shikamaru, he doesn't know that side of me". He puffed out smoke, "I'll see what I can do. The genin that will accompany you will all be trained by Asuma for 3 days then the fourth Lilac will test them and then the next day is the day you all leave"

"You look beautiful as always Lady Y/n" miss Lilac said. "I can't breathe" I said while rolling my eyes. "Y/n, the corset is not that tight, and what are you doing" Asked Kureni. I was lifting up my dress and, on my leg, I was tying some kunai, my hair was in a bun and I put in 10 senbon needles and I hid them well. And I took out my mother's fan, and each folded thing had a knife. "You can never be to prepared". I looked out at the window and saw the carriage being loaded with our bags, and I saw Asuma, Sasuke, Hinata, and Shikamaru, WAIT HOLD UP!! "No. No No No" I kept on saying No. "Milady is something wrong?" asked miss Lilac, I looked at Kureni "What is Shikamaru doing here I said any one but him and I need to change!!!". Miss Lilac looked at Kureni and its like they were having I silent conversation, then they both started to laugh. "Whatts the big idea?!" I whined out. "Lady Y/n you sound like a school girl with a crush"miss Lilac said.
My face felt hot "No way, Shika is a friend. And just no. Now I need to change, the last time I wore a dress like this in front of him was when I was 6. By the Angel I do sound like some crazy School girl. I'm turning in to Hayasaka" (pronunciation of Hayasaka: Hi-ya-saka). I looked at myself in the mirror, it was fancy, but it had the simple look I liked.
If your wondering why I don't want Shikamaru to come, well its just as simple as this, people are judgmental and cruel, I'm not saying he cant handle it, It not exactly where I would take him, I would rather have him come with me to any other stupid event but this one, even when my parents were alive I mostly didn't like it, the only good part for me was the last day and the trip to the cottage on the county side we have.
