Chapter 41: Welcome back

Y/n p.o.v

I had met up with Uncle and Naruto two days ago. And we were close to the gates. Naruto and I talked about the missions I've gone on. "Hey wait. Wasn't your cloak white? Why's it red?" I looked at Uncle "Did he not put two and two?" I said and Uncle laughed "Help him out". I sighed dramatically and took out a kunai and started to fiddle with it, "Okay so Naruto! The missions I was doing went a little like this, find the target, follow and collect information, get somehow close to them, then........ eliminate them. And that's why it's red" I calmly said, Naruto shivered and looked terrified "Remind me to never make you mad" I patted his back and he jumped in fear, "Oh please your being too dramatic, I'd never hurt you. You know your like family naruto" his eyes went bright and he gave me his classic smile, "I made you smile, you smiled!!" he cheered, I poked his arm, "I did not!"

I then looked in front of me. We were here. We had come back to Konoha, all the memories I had locked away had hit me. It felt nice to be here but it doesn't matter, I'll be leaving in two years and 9 months, when I'm 17½. What can possibly happen in that time? 

"I'll meet you at Hokage tower, I need to go see someone first" I told them, Naruto nodded and "Alright, oh and bring Tori with you. I want to say hi too" he said as I ran off in the direction of my old house. About halfway I realized I could flash step and so I did and I ended up in my room.

The bed was messy but other than that, everything was just like I had left it. I looked out the window and there was Tori outside reading. I jumped out of the window and landed just in front of her, "Konohamaru, let me finish this chapter, I'll help you train in a second"

"I don't think I'm your little boyfriend" she looked up and tackled me to the ground in a hug, "BIG SISSY!" I let my guard down and hugged her as tight as I could, "I missed you too Angel!!! No more staying apart okay." I told her and she smiled. "Really? So your not going to leave for more than a two-week mission?" I nodded and she hugged me tighter, "YAY! We'll be together forever, from now till we die. Since I don't plan on leaving the palace, even if I do get married. Ooo our kids are going to be so close!!". I laughed at my sister and poked her in the forehead, "You're too little to think of getting married and having kids but yes we will be together forever. Now I have to go see Aunt Tsuna and Shizune, so come with, once I'm done with that, we can do all that super girly stuff you like and I'll cook your favorite". We both got up, I told her to hold my hand and not let go and we flash stepped to her office.

"Y/n! Welcome back" Aunt Tsuna said and I nodded, "It's good to be back" I noticed that her and Shizune looked like they were about to cry but I felt someone hug me, "Sakura!!" "It's been such a long time!" we both stepped back, she looked older and I know we both got taller, we were still the same height though. "Not fair" Sakura whined pointing at my chest, I heard my aunt chuckle a little "it's the Senju in her" was all she said. "You grew up so much, your not the little chatterbox, your a mature young lady" Shizune said. I slightly smiled "I know that your time out helped you improve a lot, you're almost at the final stage with your eyes. And you have done a few S-rank missions. I was telling the others that I have someone on stand by to check how much they have improved. As for you, we will discuss your rank another time" as she finished her sentence, the door opened.

I went and leaned against one of the walls, Tori stayed next to Sakura. "Hey". "Hey! Shikamaru, Temari. Look what the cat dragged in, she said pointing to Naruto, I assume she still thinks I'm there considering no one but the adults noticed I moved. "Is that? It is you, Naruto!" "Hey Shikamaru!" Naruto walked closer to him "Well well your back huh" "Yeah I got back today" "Well look at you, who'd ever believe your the same idiotic- well you've changed haven't you" Shikamaru said, Naruto smiled proudly. "He hasn't changed at all" Sakura said, making Naruto sulk. Somehow they still hadn't noticed me.

"Oh Sakura don't be too harsh, he has gotten stronger, but he still can't beat me". His brown eyes landed on me, "Princess Y/n?" Temari questioned, I walked up to them, he was still staring. "Yeah, the one and only. Good to see you Lady Temari, Shikamaru". Shikamaru smiled and he got closer "It good to see you too Y/n. It's been a long time. I-" "Wait! Is Shikamru our opponent?" Naruto asked, "Opponent? What are you talking about? I just came to drop off some papers" he told Naruto. "Well if it's not you the is it umm?" He looked at Temari and got closer

"What's your name again?" "You don't remember me! / I just said her name Idiot!" me and Temari said at the same time. "Naruto, you won't find your opponent in here. He is out there" Tsuna pointed to the window. I was curious and I went with him to the window, he opened it and we both stuck our heads out.

"So,Naruto, Y/n, you went and got all grown up" "Kakashi sensei!" We both jumped out and stood on the roof, "You both haven't changed" Naruto then gave him the new book Uncle had written, I keep forgetting he is a perve as well. Then we found out that its going to be Naruto, and Sakura against Kakashi. So we decided to leave and as me and my old team plus Tori, Shika and Temari walked with us. Naruto asked if Temari and Shikamaru were dating. And he said no. Tori asked if I was jealous. "Oh god no Tori, I could care less" I told her, making Sakura laugh. Shikamaru and Temari missed that part. "Wait so what the hell is your rank Y/n?" Sakura asked. "What do you mean, she's a chunin'' Temari said and Tori giggled

"Well, I'm not so sure. I was a chunin when I left, but the solo missions I did started off as B-A-rank but then it became S-rank ANBU missions. I did have a sparring session with Uncle Jiraiya, I kicked his ass in 30 minutes, I could have done it with my eyes but I didn't want to go too far"

All of their jaws dropped, "What?" I asked and Tori smacked my side. "Your practically a jonin at this point!" Sakura said. "Well if she beat uncle she could practically be a Sanin" Tori said and that made me actually laugh "Oh god no! He didn't even use Sage mode on me plus he told me he slightly held back, but I did end up accidentally breaking his arm and a few ribs" Shikamaru looked paler and Sakura was just shocked while Temari tried to keep her face from making any reactions. "Yeah I was there, she was scary, scarier than when Granny Tsunade gets mad" I nodded, "I healed him after, it was a quick fix, so apparently I have some crazy cell thing, where my cell regenerate faster than normal and I found a way to infuse that with my chakra to heal others, it get really drained after but I'm working on it since I am not allowed to use that Jutsu that lets me heal 100% but I get the persons injury."

Shikamaru had his mouth open "Oh yeah and didn't you have a run-in with Itachi?" Tori said and I shut her mouth "What!" Temari said. I looked at my sister, little brat wants to brag but she knows she can't. "Yeah big sis apparently crash-landed at the palace, they were an even match. Stella told me you passed out for a day, but didn't yo-" I felt like smacking her, It was intense training   "Okay Tori, those are stories for another day, Shika and Temari have to go. Plus team 7 has to strategize and stuff"

I know they have to go but, I want them to go. I need to push myself as far away as I can from people, they're a distraction and those are never good. "Alright then, we'll see you later, Let's go Shikamaru" Temari said as she walked away and Shikamaru followed her.

"Tsk, not even a complaint or a what a drag, so what the fuck is she to him" I mumbled and Sakura patted my back, "Are you admitting? Oh and what's that other necklace you have on, I've never seen it" she asked and I realized I still had that on. I took the heart-shaped necklace off, on one side it was just shiny but on the other "Who's A.W?" Sakura asked me and Tori gasped, and even before she could say anything I covered her mouth and shushed her. "No one important, it was for a job I did, I had to pose as a rich guy's fiance. Oh and admit what, that Shikamaru has become more like a dog than someone with personality hmp" I walked away and I could hear Naruto asking Sakura what happened, her calling him an idiot and Tori ran to catch up to me.

"So you and !*#%?" she asked me, I won't answer her what's not her business but "Ugh no. He and I never, like I said it was a job. Now don't stick your nose into things missy, you'll never find what you're looking for. You'll find the complete opposite and unexpected" I told her and pocked her forehead
