Chapter 65: Everything that could go wrong went wrong on Mission 55678

Y/n p.o.v

I had just come back from an ANBU mission, the last day wasn't so intense, I was able to get some sleep and eat. So I wasn't so tired.

I went into my Aunt's office, I saw Shikamaru, Ino, and Choji. "Ah good you made it back Capitan" Aunt Tsuna said, I was the captain of my team. "Was it successful?" she asked and I nodded. "Welcome back" Ino said and I smiled at her. "Do you feel well enough to go out on another job?" I looked at my aunt and she knew the face I was making, "Is that even a question? Sure, I just want to take a bath" I said and I noticed that Shikamaru didn't look so tense anymore.

"You'll be joining them for an undercover mission. Were looking for a man, his name is Sugou Nobuyuki, wanted in every nation including yours, child abuse, for sex trafficking, murder, attempted murder, and assassination attempt to Princess Valencia" I was kinda shocked and I looked at Shikamaru. "Your cousin was playing with Tori's cat outside when it happened, back up came but they failed to restrain him, Shikamaru bought her inside to safety. I believe that he would have caught him" I thought that was it but, "Now that you're involved in this. I have already decided for Shikamaru to be in charge, so I know he has plans in mind but" she directed this next part to him. "Y/n has more experience with undercover missions like this. She learned from Yūgao and many other brave women how to deal with this kind of undercover."

I immediately knew what kind of mission this was, Ino was too innocent and inexperienced, they would see right through her act. Shikamaru opened the file he had and I knew it was hard to keep a straight face when he know knew the position I'd be placed in. As a Princess, I must never sleep or come near any man in a certain way. But for my job, fuck it, they'd all end up dead even before trying to make a move on me.

"Lady Tsunade I can't let her pose a prostitute!" Shikamaru then explained other plans in mind but when it came to the probability of it working, less than 25%. I slipped my hand into his and squeezed it. "Hey, it's alright. Not the first time I've done this kind of work, how do you think I got to the top of the ANBU. I did the missions no other girls would take, it's a high risk for the person themself but you do it because it needs to be done" Shikamaru wasn't exactly too happy about it but we all knew Ino would not survive a minute.

*three day's later*

We had made it to the location yesterday. The plan, I would be in the room with Sugou, it was a 'fancy' brothel aka whore house so you'd have dinner with the client. So we had a window of time. I would have to get close to him and inject poison in him and use my eyes and kill him, Shikamaru would be on the roof, making sure the rest of Sugou's gang didn't interrupt. Ino would be the desk girl, she still had to dress in skimpy clothes. If things got too intense Choji would be in the room next door and he had to pose as a client but no one would be with him.

I looked at myself in the mirror, I had outdone myself, I used a genjutsu, a really strong one, my hair was Sugou's favorite color, pastel green, I had changed my eye's to look more like my mom's, a bright blue but dull in the center with hints of gold. I had slightly changed my facial features and the makeup made it better. I also covered up my ANBU tattoo. I was in a fancy kimono-looking robe. Underneath was a skimpy silk nightgown, and that was it.

Was I uncomfortable, yes, but it's my job, do it for my nation, do it for my people. Live to protect the innocent. There was a knock on my door. "Come in" and it was Shikamaru, I tied the robe and he looked away. He went the extra step and he turned around "You don't have to" I got closer to him and I placed my hand on his shoulder. "I don't want to make Ino do it, I was given a mission like this when I turned 14, from the head of the ANBU. I was terrified, but I figured it out and did it. That was almost exactly two years ago to date. I got it" and I was gonna walk out but he pulled me back, and spun me around, his eyes and mine locked. He looked like he wanted to kill someone "I don't like the idea of scum touching you. Or even breathing the same air as you. She moment you feel uncomfortable, give me the signal.
