Chapter 87: A fight for life

I knew we were close to Archer's valley. I could sense the immense chakra. It felt overwhelming in a way. "Once we're there, let me help you, this will be a fight to the death and I can't have you dying on me" Robin said as he rose Shadow while i was on Moro. "Alright, and you better not die on me. Who's gonna deal with my annoying ass then?" I smiled at him and he smiled back, "if anything he'll be more mad that I'm on your side still. I spoke to Raven, I think I'm close to cracking her, so apparently my dad's drilled it in her head that your mom killed her mom. But I distinctly remember my stepmother dying from some illness" and It clicked, Raven thought my mom could save her mom.

I don't really remember Regina, she looked like an older version of Raven but prettier, she was always sickly, hence why at the time Vox cheated on his fiance since it was an arranged marriage, with Clarisse Fray, Robin's mom. But a woman can not dicorce her husband or break an engagement, it is frowned upon in high society. A rule I personally think it is absurd. So she stayed with him, Clarisse was respectful to Regina although she showed no ill will to her but I guess she most likely resented her in private and maybe Vox. Raven was born a month after me. Growing up, I never went to their estate, but now that I'm older, I wasn't wanted there as Vox had been plotting how to take down my parents for years.

I knew we were close, we'd be there by the next two minutes. I looked over to Robin and he had a pocket watch sticking out from his jacket. It looked new. Although I had also been busy with my things and for the past 3 months so much has happened. I knew something was going on in private for Robin. "Robin, where have you run off to every night at 1am. Please tell me now" I had avoided this for a while and I knew he'd never betray me, and I know this question has horrible timing. He sighed "I was being dumb for a while. I met a girl, I was trying to get over another girl as I knew she'd never love me. I got her pregnant. She didn't want anything to do with the kids once she gave birth. So I took them to my Mother. After the war, I was gonna tell you since I wanted time off to leave and raise my twins. Sakura was the one who assisted me in there labor since I only trust her since you trust her so much and she gave me book to try and help me figure out the do's and dont's"

I felt as if someone had slapped me in the face. I knew there were feelings involved a lot here between us, I felt horrible but at the same time, "Permission granted. If anything, I'll come and help, I'll have Lilac pick a nanny for you, the children will have the finest education and shall be Nobel's" I said "Thank you Y/n, you truly are generous and kind unlike what you say you are, that stone cold persona isn't you". I felt the nostalgic feelings I get but, I'm with Shikamaru. But I do care a lot for Robin, he's literally seen me since I was born, as he is three years older than me. "What are their names?" I asked to pull me out of whatever I was feeling, "Jace and Jade. Six's months old" so he had a boy and a girl.

We exited the forest and there I saw my worst nightmare. Hayasaka was bleeding out and Kat could barely keep up with Vox. "I got my dad, you go heal Hayasaka" we both jumped off my wolves and I ran to my best friend. "You are not dying!" I said to her as I turned her over, I started to heal her. "Y/n, just a bandage, you need to fight" she whispered. I bandaged her up in two minutes, Kat came behind me. "Thank you we got it from here. Moro take them to Kohaku River, %^&* should be there to help them out. Shadow if an enemy should come near, you attack" and I turned around.

Vox and Robin were going at it hard, it felt like a distant memory watching them fight, as if I had seen this before when I was kid. The difference is that this is real, and someone dies here. "I'M HERE YOU FUCKER!" I yelled as I knew I was ready to face him and kill him. I had just activated phase six. I had no control of it and I wasn't even close to activating phase seven, but I could outsmart him plus teamwork always wins according to Kakashi and he is never wrong.
