Chapter 88: The sky has gained a star but a tormented angel had to fall.

Shikamaru's p.o.v

As we were all fighting I saw Y/n for a moment and I was horrified. It was as if someone had taken a picture of that moment. She was next to Selna who looked lifeless, Y/n looked like she was on the brink of death.

I wanted to go, I needed to go help her but I can't leave the fight I am in. Sakura appeared next to me, and she looked scared, I wasn't the only one who saw it.

"She'll be fine, she always pulls through" Sakura said to me

Y/n p.o.v

I heard the gunshot.

Seven more were fired instantly

But I never felt it impact me

Instead as I opened my eyes I screamed in horror. I saw Robin on the ground in front of me. 'I will do anything to save you M'lady' I heard his voice say in my head

I can't have him dying. He is literally the only person who knows me like the real me, the one that does anything to save someone's sorry ass and who will go along with every selfish desire I have. 'I'll use myself for your last a-' I didn't hear his voice any more in my head. I looked at my necklace and it slowly started going back to being crystal clear.

My head felt like it was pounding and I felt a rush of power.

*Flash back*

"No one can ever go past phase six and so that is all you children will get to" My aunt said to us, Kendal raised her hand, "Wait so we can't awaken it with intense training? Then how come Y/n's grandmas has it" and I nodded my head too. "How can I get it? I need to be as strong as possible so I can protect people!" I said very enthusiastically for just being six. My aunt sighed. "It's one thats cruel, this world is cruel, you'll have to lose a soul mate. A soul mate can mean many different things and not just a lover can be one but it usually is some kind. "YOU WILL NOT GET AWAY WITH THAT! YOU KILLED YOUR OWN SON! DO YOU NOT HAVE A HEART!" I yelled and lost it when I saw a sword go through him.

I yelled and just by me yelling and the surge of power around me he fell back. He had activated the final forum of our eyes. But it was absolutely completely utterly useless as my rage and will was what was keeping me up.

I pulled him by the collar. I punched him but still had a tight grip on him. "YOU took it all away from me. And in a way it isn't your fault. BUT you could have still controlled your actions! You had a son who was willing to talk and open your eyes and every time he wanted to try, you'd threaten to kill his mother!" I yelled and the ground around me shook and it started to crack as I walked.

He got back up and he flash stepped in front of me. He still did have my dad's eyes so, I punched him again but he blocked it, he threw a kick and it landed on my side. I probably broke a rib or two but at that moment steam came from the side of my body as the pain only lasted about ten seconds. "It's impossible for you to have awakened your regeneration ability! Your eye are child's pla-". I was hyperventilating as my head pounded some more.

It was like a flash, I saw the eighth king and his son being killed in war, twelfth losing his brother, my great grandfather's mistress dying by the hands of my great grandmother in war, I saw my grandmother holding the dead body of a man in her arms, then finally the sword going through my mothers womb, killing my unborn sibling. Then what had happened moments ago with Robin. 'The Lunar family has gained power but a star had to die.
