Chapter 57: New Light

Y/n p.o.v 

I woke up and I opened my closet. I got out a set of ninja clothes. I put it on. Tied my hair up and I noticed on my dresser there was a note. 'Go, you don't have to wait- Aunt Tsunade' I smiled and I ran out of my room.

As I passed by the tatami room aka, shoji room, my brain was filled back up with what happened. 'I was vulnerable and not thinking, I can't like him, he is my best friend' I said to myself 'And he didn't kiss my cheek, I was dreaming or hallucinating from exhaustion' I told myself and I stopped blushing. He has someone else.

I went to the kitchen, there was Yoshino and she handed me a plate of my favorite. "Thanks" I said to her and I started to eat, "No thank you my dear. Only you can calm Shikamaru down and bring him back down to reality and make him feel better. Isn't Robin still here in Konoha?" she said as she gave me a glass of Ice Matcha tea, I gulped the whole thing down. "Yeah but I'm making him train with the ANBU. 'More like infiltrating it to get the info and dirt I need on Danzo'. I finished my food and she took the plate and cup. "Me and Shikamaru just get each other. I think it's because we have known each other super long" And I walked to the kitchen door, ready to leave. "My lazy son is lucky to have found you" she said, I'm not so sure what that means. "I'll come back later with him. See ya Mama Yoshi" I said, I hadn't called her that in a while, she was practically like a mom to me. I ran out, "Bye Y/n. Come back before dinner!" I smiled, some things never change.

I know exactly where Shikamaru is going to kill Hidan. For some reason it occurred to us to dig a deep hole in the ground, deep in the Nara clan forest. The part where no outsider is permitted. But I was, I had Shikaku's blessing, plus the dear like me more then Shika. I had marked kunai everywhere in this forest. But I had to save my chakra. I just had to concentrate hard and use the empathy link. I closed my eyes, I could see Shikamaru running into the forest with him. I stopped and bit my thumb, "Summoning jutsu" and my pure snow white fox came, "Princess at your service" Moro said, she was a little bigger than Akamaru, she was pure speed just like her brother, plus a very good tracker. "Take me to Shikamaru please" I said and I took out a piece of cloth that had his scent. She sniffed it and her black eyes turned red. She had him down, "Get on Princess, hold on tight" and I did.

I missed this feeling, the adrenaline pumping through me. There was a huge branch coming up our way, "I got it" I said, I took out my Katana, it's been a while since I used a wind style jutsu with it, "Dancing blades" I said and it turned to wood chips. I sensed someone trying to get in the forest, I felt harm. "What am I fucken Princess Mononoke now! Gosh dammit it" I yelled, "Moro, Stop!" I said and she did. I knew Shikamaru could handle himself, he was up north, the trouble was in the east. "Moro go east and don't stop. Once there you may go back. I have a feeling it's not safe" she howled "As you wish Princess" I took out my other Katana and we went off.

Once close enough to see. It was Raven and Sasuke fighting, something I never thought I'd see. "Moro, leave now!" I said and she disappeared and I felt someone tackle from behind and pin me down. "I got her Jay!" It was Sparrow holding me. I kicked up and purposely threw my marked kunai in certain places. "Oh great, now I have to fight him too!" I yelled annoyed since Jay was the youngest general the Lunar army had seen, skilled in every form of fighting. He was on his way to become commander. He was 24 right now. I saw and one of their lackey's was trying to take a deer. "Hand's off!" I yelled and attacked him, I was quicker than him, I threw five kunai at him, pinning him to a tree, I used my wind style to make a wall so the deer could go back in the forest safely. I threw my katana to the guy and it went right through his heart.

"You've gotten better since I last trained you? I was always better than team zero" Jay said, "You were technically my first instructor, huh? It's the other way around I guess, this time the student kills the teacher" and we both ran to each other. I decided not to use my eye's for this one, I need to beat him with pure tai-jutsu. He threw his sword to the ground and I threw my Katanas. He went in to punch me and I flash stepped behind him kicking him and I pulled him back with his hair but he grabbed my arm throwing me into a tree. "Fuck that actualy hurts!" I yelled. I moved to the side as he came to practically kick my head off. I grabbed his leg till I broke it, "You're forgetting one thing! I'm a ninja" I said and I threw him into the ground, breaking it around us. I stood back, expecting him to be down on the ground but he got up as if nothing happened. "You're forgetting I was an experiment, I heal very quickly. You still fight like a little kid Princess". I grew angry at his words. "SCREW IT" I yelled and I looked at Sasuke who was in the middle of trying to kill Raven and Sparrow. "I'm gonna use it!" I yelled at Sasuke. He nodded and ran off.
