Chapter 19: Aftermath

Tori’s p.o.v

It’s been a week since the Chunin exams happened. And a lot has happened. So, Lord Hokage died and so did Gekko and everyone went to the funeral. Kat and Hayasaka are now back at my place, there better and are expected to make a full recovery. My Grandmama found out what happened and she sent over the future of the Lord of Agresta, Michelangelo who also happens to be my super-duper old cousin, I’m seven and he’s 23, married, and has a three-month-old baby named Angelo, he’s pretty cute.

And Y/n still hasn’t woken up, according to the doctor she lost a lot of blood and since the day before the Chunin exam she went on a quick d-rank mission, came back home at 1am then used her eyes and had a hard fight with an opponent just as strong, used her ice jutsu that takes up way to much of her power, she practically lost all her chakra. They say it’s a miracle she’s alive. Mike, that’s what we call Michelangelo, he’s not going to leave till Y/n wakes up and when they chose the fifth Hokage.

I’m currently on my way to go see Y/n at the hospital, Mike, since he’s here he might as well work out a trade deal or two, probably going to be lumber since part of Konoha was destroyed. Leave it to my family to think of a stupid trade deal when Y/n’s hurt.

“Hello Princess, here to see your sister?” The nurse at the front desk asked “Hi and yes, she’s still in the same room, right?” and the nurse nodded and so I went up the stairs to the second floor and went to room 225 and I opened the door, there she was. You could hear various monitors and machines beep. “Hey Sissy, um Mike’s still in town and todays the only day I’m getting rid of him since Grandmama sent him to do a trad. Konohamaru is sad that Lord third is gone, I am too but I’ll live. Shikamaru, he has come over every day, to make sure I’m okay and if Mikes nor with me then he is, right now he’s training so yeah. That’s it I think.” I then grabbed the chair and bought it super close to the bed, I held her hand, it wasn’t cold but it wasn’t warm either. I hated this, I hated her being like this, I started to tear up “I know your going to call me a baby for crying, but I never knew I’d miss you so much, you go out for week long missions but you always come back, I’m probably being dramatic but, you have to wake up pleas I miss you, even if I’m a brat you care for me. The only reason she didn’t get to me is cause of the poison, she was about to fight Kat when she collapsed and then a sound nin took her away. You’re the only one I have left, mom and dad are gone, sure we have extended family but its no the same”

I put my head on the bed and cried, “I need you to wake up to say I love you, I never tell you that but I do, I promise to be nice and I’ll try not to tease you and big brother too much. Just wake up!”  I then heard the door open, my head shot up, and it was Shikamaru he had flowers, his eyes had sympathy in them, he walked in and “cry, I won’t tell anyone” and he pulled the curtain, so I couldn’t see him but he was still in the room. And I did until there were no more tears, and slowly I had started to fall asleep

Shikamaru’s p.o.v

I was walking to Y/n room when I was about to open the door, I heard Tori “I know your going to call me a baby for crying, but I never knew I’d miss you so much, you go out for week long missions but you always come back, I’m probably being dramatic but, you have to wake up pleas I miss you, even if I’m a brat you care for me.
