Gist: A contuation of after the kiss and hockey game.
By the time the game had finished it was pitch black outside and half eleven. Both parties were over exhausted by the time they arrived back at Hailey's apartment. They'd not talked about the kiss that happened, or anything for that matter other than the odd comment about how intense the game had been. As much as they wanted to know how the other felt about the kiss, even though they knew the other liked it, they didn't dare push the other to talk about it.
"Tonight was fun. Thankyou, Jay" Hailey smiled tiredly, unbuckling herself. "It was. You're welcome, anytime" Jay smiled back, not wanting Hailey to get out the truck just yet. "Yeh" Hailey nodded, jumping out the truck in one swift move. Just as she was about to close the door, she paused and bit her lip. She wanted to see if Jay wanted to come in, yet she also didn't want to push her look. Basically worrying other nothing. "What's up, Hails?" Jay quietly questioned. "You wanna come inside?" Hailey offered, slowly growing the guts to peel her eyes from the floor and onto Jay. He smiled at how bashful she looked, he found it rather cute. "Yeh, I'd like that"Once inside, Hailey pulled two beers out the fridge and threw her and Jay's coats over the back of her sofa, before they took their respectful seats on her sofa. It was silent for a while, a little tension pulling between them about what the kiss actually was. "You look shattered" Jay stated, observing how Hailey's head fell then jerked back up when she stopped herself falling asleep there and then. "So do you" Hailey threw back. "I am, that's why" Jay yawned, proving Hailey's point perfectly. "Listen, I know you're tired, but the kiss cam situation. I..."
"That wasn't just for the camera" Jay cut Hailey off, seeing where the conversation was heading.
"It wasn't?" Hailey exhaled, like a weight had been lifted off her shoulders. She knew it was more than just for the kiss cam, but hearing him say it aloud made it all the more real. "Yeh. Truth be told, I've been wanting to do that that along time" Jay admitted, a smile tugging on his lips. "Me, too" Hailey agreed, feeling confident enough to agree that she felt the same way as he did. "So..." Jay whispered deeply, scanning Hailey's eyes for words she couldn't say. "So..." Hailey copied, moving slightly closer to Jay. The two searched each others eyes for words once again, and they found them. Jay knew what Hailey was wanting and Hailey knew what Jay was wanting; so they met half way. She lent in to meet him half way, their lips delicately locking for the second time that evening.
This time was different, though. It wasn't just one static kiss. They pulled apart briefly and re-connected, doing it several times over- eventually their tongues danced around each other, and Jay pulled Hailey onto his lap. Their kisses continued, small moans escaping both their bodies. It was a long time coming that moment, and both of them were home finally. "Bedroom" Hailey grumbled, pulling away for breath. "Okay" Jay obeyed, re-attatching their lips and standing up with Hailey still tightly in his grip- making a quick job of taking them over to Hailey's bedroom.
Once in the bedroom, Jay dropped Hailey onto the ground and they slowly started peeling their clothes off each other; throwing them who knows where. Slowly, Jay backed him and Hailey onto the edge of the bed- helping her lay on her back gently. He hovered above her, keeping himself up with his elbows, as they looked lustfully into one an others blown pupils. "Are you sure?" Jay checked, not wanting to push Hailey into doing anything she didn't want to do. "Yeh, I'm sure. Are you?" Hailey checked, not wanting to push Jay. "Yeh, more than I've ever been" He grinned, cupping Hailey's cheek with his protective hand. "There's just one thing you need to know" Jay said, breaking the passionately soft kiss.
"What is it?"
"You're beautiful, so beautiful" Jay complemented, his voice threaded with nothing but love and kindness.
Hailey blushed with the complement, but it reminded her why she fell for Jay. He always made her feel truly amazing, always complimenting her and making her feel the safest she ever could feel. "You're amazing" She emotionally responded, leaning up and kissing Jay with her true words.
The rest of the evening was full of fun, love, and passion. It was truly the most amazing evening either of them had.
A/N: Hey ya'll, hope you enjoy the second part! It wasn't quite sure how to write a follow up from the kiss, so this seemed like the most upstead kind of situation. Don't forget to comment what you think and vote if you want, too.
