"You're my call home, saying it's more than love,
Momma, she's the one" - My Person, Spencer Crandall.
A/N: So, you don't have to listen to the song to understand. However, I do recommend you do to get the full concept.
Also, in this story, Jay's Mum is still alive.

Hailey and Jay had been officially dating for just over a year. They'd moved into a lovely apartment after only four months of being together, they laughed till their ribs couldn't take it anymore, and they snuggled in bed on lazy Sunday mornings. It was true Heaven and happiness.
Throughout the year and a bit of dating, Hailey had met Jay's Mum over video chat quite a few times. The two women hit of instantly. Unbeknownst to Hailey, Jay's Mum was already fully aware of how strongly Jay had fallen for Hailey after she revealed that "Jay constantly talked and swooned" over Hailey whenever they talked. The couple both turned beat red, however Hailey's was out of butterflies and the fact Jay loved her so much- rather than complete embarrassment like Jay's cause for redness.
So, after endless chats over video talks and finally finding a free weekend, Jay drove him and Hailey up to where his mother retired; Ephrain, a small town in Wisconsin. Hailey was super exited about meeting Jay's mum in person, absolutely in love with the woman. Whilst, on the other hand, Jay was a nervous wreck. He didn't know why, because he'd witnessed countless times how well Hailey and his mum got on- so why would it be all so different in person?
"Her home is beautiful" Hailey ghasped, admiring the beautiful bungalow that Jay's mum lived in.
The outside was covered in fresh green grass and framed with vibrant and soft flowers on the edges. The house door had roses laying delicately on the brims, it was absolutely gorgeous.
"Yeh, it is" Jay agreed with a small smile, trying to suck down his nerves.
"Let's go, before we get yelled at for loitering" Hailey chuckled, grabbing Jay's arm eagerly and dragging him up the drive way to the door.
"You sure you're ready?" Jay checked with Hailey....well, more himself but directed it at Hailey.
"Jay, I'm more than ready. I love Rosemary. You need to breath" Hailey giggled, amused at Jay's high state of panic.
"I'm sorry. It's just....it's just you're the first girl she's ever met" Jay confessed, blushing in embarrassment.
"Really?" Hailey questioned, her heart swealing at how much more important she is to Jay than any other girl he'd ever been with.
"Yeh, really. I never wanted to let my Mum meet anyone she wouldn't approve of, because I knew deep down that they weren't right for me. But, with you, I have no doubts" Jay explained, smiling sheepishly down to the Blond beneath him.
"Well, in that case, let's meet the Woman who's Son made my life a living Hell" Hailey teased, gently shoulder bumping Jay.
