Gist: Hailey's pregant and doesn't know how, or when, to tell her year-long boyfriend; Jay Halstead.

The sun rays painted the soft grey colour of Jay and Hailey's bedroom, enhancing the image of the couple sleeping peacefully in each others brace. As the bright rays settled upon Hailey's sleeping eyes, the pain became too much for her sleeping eyes to cope with and she stured from her slumber.
The light hurt her eyes, but the pain was soon cancelled out by the sight of the brunette man that was lying next to her. His freckels were more obvious now it was summer, making him even more handsome in Hailey's eyes- they were one of her favorite things about him. Gently drawing shapes on her boyfriend's bare, sleeping chest, she woke Jay accedentally; however, she wasn't sorry she did- she was starving. "Mhhjj" Jay grumbled tiredly, slowly opening his eyes. "Morning" Hailey chuckled, finding her boyfriend's dazed appearance adorable. "Why you wake me up? I was comfy" Jay moaned, rolling over to face the blond properly. "Honestly, I didn't mean too. But I'm also starving, so I'm not all that sorry I woke you" Hailey answered honestly, a cheeky smile tugging at her lip corners. "You're lucky I love you" Jay said, kissing Hailey's fourhead. "I know" Hailey smiled, genuinely finding herself to be extremely lucky to be loved by such an amazing man. "So, pancakes?" Jay suggested, breaking the loving silence. "Yes!" Hailey exlaimed, diving out of bed like a spring. Everything went blury though, she felt ever so dizzy, and her head felt like an over-filled balloon suddenly. "Whoa, you good?" Jay asked, running over to steady the wobbling blond. "Ugh, yeh, I just stood up too quickly" Hailey stammered, trying to regain her focus. "Alright, I mean, you did jump up rather quickly" Jay chuckled, shrugging off the bizzar moment. "Exactly" Hailey agreed, finally finding her sight again. "Come on, let's get you food before you actually have an issue and faint" Jay said, dragging Hailey across the bedroom and into the living area."Chocolate or plain?" Jay asked, pulling both mix packets out the cupboard. "Chocolate, I've got a sweet tooth this morning" Hailey replied. "You never have a sweet tooth" Jay commented, pouring the mixture into a bowl and adding water to it to sture in. "First time for everything" Hailey shurgged, plonking herself down on the bar stool of the kitchen island. "I ain't complaining though. These ones are the best" Jay smiled, leaning over the island and kissing Hailey quickly. "Didn't think you would" Hailey chuckled.
Once the pancakes were flipped, tossed, and drowned in cream by Jay, the couple sat down on the balcony and ate their breakfast under the blazing sun. As much as Hailey was previously hungry, her appetite plummeted when the food was actually placed infront of her. Whilst Jay wolfed his down in seconds, Hailey played with hers; dragging it to and frow on her plate with the knife and falk. "I thought you liked these ones" Jay said, confused to why the food-loving Hailey was playing with her breakfast. "I do. I'm just not hungry anymore" Hailey answered, a feeling of nausea waving through her stomach. "You look a little pale, you sure that's all it is?" Jay asked, leaning forward and placing his hand on Hailey's head to check her temperature. "Yeh, I'm..." Before Hailey could finish her sentence, she darted up off the floor and sprinted to the bathroom- only just making it in time.
Rushing after her, Jay barged into the bathroom to see Hailey sitting on the floor, and her head down the toilet; brining back up whatever she'd eaten the previous evening. "It's okay" Jay soothed, holding back Hailey's blond locks and crouching beside her. "Get off" Hailey snapped between short gaps, finding Jay's touch on her back painful. "Okay, sorry" Jay apologised, giving Hailey some room. After about ten minutes, Hailey finally stopped throwing up and fell back against the bath- completely exhausted from the situation. "Here, have this" Jay said, handing her a glass of cool water. "Thanks" Hailey gasped, still out of breath. "I'm gonna call Voight, tell him we're taking the day off" Jay informed, pulling his phone out his pj bottoms pocket. "No, I'm fine. We're going to work" Hailey argued, standing up off the bathroom floor. "No, you're not" Jay scoffed, no way was he letting Hailey go to work looking like she was just dragged through a hedge backwards. "Jay, I'm going to work" Hailey glared, pushing past him to get dressed. "Women" Jay sighed, shoving his phone back in his pocket.
