Giggles and moans echoed through Jay and Hailey's apartment, nothing but pure bliss and joy could be felt. Even after the eventful night the couple had celebrating their marriage, exitment and passion still coursed through their veins; the inability to keep their hands off each other was oh so real.
Whispers of "we're married" and "I'm a Halstead" tangled themselves in the sound of the moans and giggles, both of them in complete disbelief that they actually married each other. After years of dancing around their feelings for one and other, trying to suppress the feelings and straight up doing a terrible job of ignoring them, Jay and Hailey finally caved just under a year ago and now they were married.
Married to spend their whole lives together.
"I love you, so much" Jay panted sincerely, coming down from his release.
"I love you, too. More than anything" Hailey retorted, loving how the three words that just to terrify her roll off her tongue to easily.
"However, you know what would make me love you even more?"
Chuckling, Jay raised a curious eye brow at his beaming and beautiful wife next to him. "What?"
"If you made waffles; like, extra sypury, extra chocolatey and extra creamy" Hailey practically dreweled as she explained her perfect waffles with a huge grin across his face.
"That's totally gross, but I'll be more than happy to make them for you" Jay smiled, kissing Hailey a few times before she shoved him away.
"Waffles first" Hailey stated with a straight face.
"Fine, you're so bossy" Jay rolled his eyes, feigning annoyance.
"I'm a Halstead now, so just following the tradition" Hailey threw back, both their hearts fluttering at the verbal acknowledgement that Hailey was infact of a Halstead.
"I hope you're on about Will, because I'm certainly not bossy" Jay frowned, throwing on a pair of fresh boxers.
"If I remember correctly, you definitely had a bossy streak in you" Hailey raised her brow. She definitely wasn't complaining, she loved it when Jay took the lead.
"Pot kettle black" Jay stuck his tongue out, wondering off to the kitchen before Hailey could come up with a whitty comment.
Dressed in Jay's shirt from the evening before, Hailey followed Jay through to their kitchen and wrapped her arms around his middle as he got to work making the waffles; blushing to herself as her eyes landed on the scratches on Jay's back.
"Is your back okay?"
"Yeh, it's okay. Why?" Jay asked, unaware of the claw marks that decorated his should blades. Sure he'd felt Hailey's nails digging into him the evening before, just didn't realise the extent of the damage.
"Ugh, you may or may not have a few scratches on your back" Hailey chewed the her bottom lip, letting go of Jay's middle and hopping onto the counter next to him.
"Classy of you, Hails" Jay chuckled, pecking Hailey on the lips.
"I'm sure I've got bruises myself, so let's call it evens" Hailey smiled, returning Jay's peck of the lips.
