"So we've concluded that we need to do something against the rules." Since Jae spent the last Hogesmeade weekend hanging around Knockturn Alley instead of joining Dani, Tonks and Tulip at the Hog's Head (in which Aberforth Dumbledore also helped them brainstorm), Dani filled him in as they made more sandwiches. "I'm thinking about going with the classic fanged frisbee-esque prank, but how do we make it BANNED?"
"Guess I was lucky to bump into Fletcher yesterday. He said he had an entire crate of JINXED ever-bashing boomerangs. That's the equivalent of fanged frisbees times 100, AND it's forbidden. I wanted to do an epic Filch prank with that, but it seems you need it more. Besides, you're better at duelling."
"Why duelling?"
"He agreed to give it to me next weekend if I took care of a dark wizard for him."
"Leave it to me."

The black-cloaked man slipped into Knockturn Alley. He his eyes darted across the dingy street, falling upon a figure in the shadows.
"Show yourself! What do you wa-"
"DEPULSO!"
The wizard dodged the blast, but being the scaredy-cat he was, he slipped back out into the wider Diagon Alley, which was still nearly deserted in the late winter.
"YOU TRICKED US! You're a sneak and a thief!"
Back on Knockturn, Jae was yelling at Fletcher, who, moments ago, was bragging about how he was going to rob the dark wizard's house.
"Quie', kid. Ima man o' m'word. Just hang on ther', I'll just go grab 'em..."

After dinner that same evening, Dani, Jae, Tonks and Tulip were in the artefact room, where Jae hid the crate (for now), and they discussed their next steps.
"I think I know what the last part of the prank will be," said Dani after they'd thrown out some ideas. "I'll have a chat with Kettleburn at my next Care of Magical Creatures class."
