"St. Canard?" "Really?" "Boo."

"I'm with the boys. Why there, Mr. McDuck?" I hadn't forgotten my last visit.

"Well, McDuck Enterprises is expanding its mining ventures into a nearby mining city. I have a meeting with the owners. I figured that you could take the boys around the city."

"Uh, sure. I'm sure we could find something to do," I sighed. The boys cheered happily.

Launchpad dropped Scrooge off at his meeting and I got into the passenger seat of the limo.

"You want to go get, Drake's little girl? She might appreciate doing something fun."

"You think Mr. McDuck would be okay if we invited Gosayln?" LP asked nervously.

"Who's Gosalyn?" Huey stuck his head up in between me and Launchpad.

"____! Can we go laser tagging?" Dewey asked.

"He'll be fine with it. I'll cover her and do you know a place Launchpad?" He smiled and nodded.

"Yeah, there's a couple places." Launchpad pulled up at Drake's house. He stepped out to go talk to Drake. The girl was bouncing around the front yard.

"Don't tell me you invited a girl!" Louie whined.

"I make y'all a bet. LP, Gos, and I will be a team and you three will be a team. If y'all win I'll get ice cream."

"If we lose?" Dewey asked.

"Doesn't matter we won't lose." Huey crossed his arms.

"That's what you think!" Gosalyn yelled, jumping in the back. "Where to?"

"Laser Plaza in the mall on sixth," Launchpad said getting into the car.

"Oh cool! That's multi level one!"

It didn't take a few minutes to get there. We wander around not in any hurry but I got an uncomfortable feeling like someone was following me. Once the kids saw the laser tag it was over. They sprinted as fast they could. They went into the back room and started putting on the gear as I paid. The feeling of me being watch only grew as we watched the safety video.

Launchpad, Gos, and I were red and triples were green. We ran into the pitch black room. Lasers shot through the foggy in the dead slience, making the place ten times creeper than it should've been. Instantly, I lost all the kids. Great but I guess that was the point. There was a ramp to my right that led to a second level so I took it. I saw a glimpse of neon green that disappeared. Someone must've just gotten shot. I turned a corner and caught a glimpse of another green target. When I got to the spot, they were gone. I hummed.

"Where are they?" I wandered around for a few more minutes not seeing anyone. I leaned over the rail and still didn't see anyone. "Ha. Ha. Very funny, boys. You can quit hiding."

Suddenly someone was behind me, with a gravelly voice, "Who said I was hiding?"

I gasped and blacked out. I woke up with the four kids, still in laser tag gear, tied up in front of me. They all seemed to be knocked out. Launchpad wasn't anywhere to be seen but I assumed he was here somewhere.

I went to step towards the kids and noticed my hands were tied together behind my back and to a pole. Negaduck was standing crossed arm, to my right.

"Deja vu much?" I smiled at him.
