"Why don't you join me, dollface?" he called as I watched from the skylight.

I knew I shouldn't. Darkwing was at least ten minutes away and I couldn't take Negaduck on my own. I had tried and failed multiple times, yet I dropped down.

"What are you up to, Negs?"

He growled, annoyed. He hated the nickname, but seemed to tolerate me calling him it. Dark would have be shot by now.

"Why don't you come over here and find out?" he asked, spinning to face the computer he was standing in front of.

I took a few steps closer, looking over the plans. Sketches of a bomb and the floor plan of the St. Canard City Bank sat at the table. I stepped too close, and he grabbed my wrist.

"Negs," I gasped, trying to pull away, but he didn't let go. Instead, he pulled me closer with an evil smile.

"Where's the Dipshit?"

"You've got me." I punched at his head with my free hand, but he dodged.

For Darkwing and Negaduck to be opposite, they had a lot of similarities. Their uniforms, despite the color choice, were practically the same. Their fighting styles were punch for punch. Which should have given me an advantage, but somehow didn't. They shared the same gadgets, technically. Negaduck had his weapon of choice: the chainsaw and, of course, on rare occasions-like now-a gun. He pushed me onto the ground and I ate pavement. He walked around me as I sat up.

Having your back to an enemy was bad so I tried to jump up to prevent it. However, he was faster. He pointed the weapon at the back of my head. I froze. He stepped closer, pressing the barrel into my skull lightly.

"You mean I have you to myself, dollface?" He pulled me backwards and pressed his body into me. His free hand wrapped around my waist, locking my hips in place. My breathing was erratic. I should've waited on Darkwing.

"We never get to talk when that overprotective Douchewing is around." The villain's lips grazed my ear as he spoke. I held in a shutter.

"What do you want?" I struggled, but it didn't matter. He held me in place and my heart pounded.

"For you to join me, of course. The gig's easy. You tell me all about Dofuswing's soft spots and I'll find yours." His lips grazed my neck.

"No," I squeaked. It was barely audible.

He let out a cruel laugh. "Not very convincing."

"I won't help you," I said, stronger.

"Won't you at least consider? What does Dumbwing offer that I don't?" he asked. The gun drooped slightly.

He sounded genuinely curious. I shook it off. Darkwing had told me before that Negaduck would say anything to get in my head. It was easy for Nega to get in my head. More than the others. I knew that.

"You're the bad guy. I shouldn't even be talking to you," I told myself more than him. Then added, "Also better punchlines."

"Yet you rushed in without any backup. Were you eager to see me?" I looked at him over my shoulder.
