He might not have reacted so harshly if Gos had drawn on any of the rest of the yearbook. However, the rambunctious little spit fire had a knack for finding her fathers sore spots, which is why she was currently locked in her room until college.

He glanced at the drawing of Megavolt's gear over Elmo's face. Had he really missed that all these years? No, he hadn't. Somewhere in him he knew the truth but hadn't wanted to admit it. Although that would explain why out of all the villains he faced Megavolt was most likely to walk away unscathed and not arrested, when his dastardly plans hadn't hurt anyone or caused too much property damage.

Darkwing growled one last time at the photo before slamming the book shut. Just in time too. A siren wailed in the distance and he pulled himself off the Audubon Bridge. He followed the commotion to the warehouse district.

"You'd think supervillains would get some new material," DW said to himself as he maneuvered over the roof.

He saw Megavolt, of course it was him, doing something. He watched his friend shuffle around for a moment before jumping down.

"I am the terror that flaps in the night. I am the spark plugs that have rusted over. I am Darkwing Duck." Both the hero and villain notice the lack of normal enthusiasm. "What are you up to, Sparky? I'm not in the mood to fight you tonight."

He didn't mean to phrase it that way. It had sort of popped out. Megavolt laughed.

"Good then sit back and enjoy the ride!" Megavolt pulled a lever and everything went white.

...

DW set up and he realized he was at his old high school. He was in an almost empty senior history classroom. The only other person in the room sitting to his right was a snoring Mega-Elmo. Drake blinked, was he in a dream? He rubbed his eyes and no mask! Why wasn't he wearing one? Then again Elmo was in his high school clothing as well. Drake stood and went to tap Elmo when suddenly he bolted up, making Drake fall to the ground.

"It worked! I'm in the past! I'm," Elmo said a stunned boy on the floor. "Who are you?"

"Uh," DW didn't know how to answer. Elmo recognized him.

"No! No, no, no! You weren't supposed to be here Dark," the door flung open.

"Well if it isn't the two class fags!" Both of the boys' heads snapped to the source. The bully had caught them at a bad time.

Drake hated that word and balled his fist. Elmo flinched though Dark wasn't sure why. He stood up and marched toward the pig.

"Look here, Ham!" He blinked at his own voice but pressed on. "Leave us alone or I'll put your ass back in the band equipment."

A few soft chuckles came from the hogs entourage at the memory of Drake getting in a lucky shot and the bully had ended up in a tuba.

"This isn't over," Ham grumbled but left.

"I can't believe he falls for that every time," Drake laughed and sat on top of a desk. He turned towards his old friend. "Elmo are you okay? You looked like I was about to hit you."

Drake laughed again.

"Why did you do that?" Megavolt nodded towards the door and took a step back and clung to a desk.

"Do what?" Drake was confused and looked over at the door where he jestered.

"That?! Threaten him. He could've beaten me up for you!" He was frantic.
