Why we were invited to this dumb birthday party, I would never know. However, Louie insisted I come. Goldie, Louie, and I walked in the front door towards the elevator. The worst part about this whole order was I had to wear a dress, meaning I had to steal one of Webby's. I crossed my arms and pouted, waiting for the elevator to open.
We stepped on the elevator and I was hit with a memory. I pulled Louie's hand. He turned to look at me confused. I pulled him so close our beaks were nearly touching. I could feel Goldie watching us.
"Llewelyn Duck! It took me three months to get the purple mystery stain out of this dress last time we came here. Personally, I don't care but if we have a repeat of said event you will be dealing with Webby's wrath until it is clean. Do we have an understanding?" He guppled and nodded. "Good."
I released him and smiled triumphantly.
"To be young and in love," Goldie sighed behind us.
"Ewwwe," Louie squealed.
"Yeah, I don't love Louie! He's my sparring partner." I punched him in the arm, before crossing my arms. He rubbed the spot.
"Okay," she chuckled and we didn't look at each other but I was hoping he blushed just as much as me.
The doors dinged opened and we headed to Doofus's party.
