Negaduck & Gosalyn (prime)

It took her weeks to put the pieces in place. First she had to convince her dad to go on a date with Morgona, that wasn't too hard but he was suspicious. Gos needed to consult her spell book on the steps she needed to take, and to see if her plan was even possible. She was glad to find it was possible but groaned at the sight of the two page long list of ingredients list. It was hard to find time to track them down between adventuring with her father and seemingly endless amounts of homework but she managed.

After collect them she convinced Hooker to help her mix them. He wondered what she was doing but she told him it was a surprise. When they finished she told him and he had threatened to pour it out. It would've put a month's worth of hard work down the drain. She begged him not to; she even threw in some tears to make him stop. He wasn't happy about it but didn't ruin the mix. However, he refused to help her any farther.

The next step was to get a capsule for the spell. This meant keeping the very stinky potion hidden in her room until she could get an amulet. It took her a week and half and near heart attack moment when Launchpad walked in and asked about the smell. She lied and said it was her hockey uniform. He mumbled saying it was more like her socks. That next day she ditched her dad long enough to make it to an antique store.

She had to pick a charm to incase the spell. She found something she thought her father would hate, a gold necklace with a black gem, then haggled the price down to a mere $26. The thing was probably worth a lot more but she only had her allowance money saved up for a few weeks and she knew how to haggle.

Most importantly, the thing that took the longest, she had to find his house. She had started looking long before she started the rest of her plan and was still having little luck. She wasn't about to give up but her deadline was just a few days away now. Then finally, after months of hanging out with thugs and getting kicked out of sketchy bars, she found the address.

She had a well thought out plan too. She had convinced LP to take her dad on a fancy vacation that S.H.U.S.H had been offering him for a while. This would leave her free to sneak out of the house when the babysitter fell asleep. Perfect!

Finally, after what felt like a lifetime, but was actually only three months, she was staring at the rats nest of an abandoned building and she couldn't control her nerves. She had convinced herself it was just the June heat making her jumpy. This had been the plan along but staring at the building was so scary. She sat on the opposite rooftop waiting for him to leave.

The plan was to drop the gift at his doorstep and leave long before he came back. She had not made it this far for him to kill her or worst kidnap her and risk her dad finding out what she had done! It was getting late though maybe he had already left for the night and she should go now.

"Oh! This is taking forever!" She took a deep breath. She scolded herself, "You've come this far! Don't get impatient now!"

Someone behind her cleared her throat. She wiped around and prayed it wasn't her father. She was thankful that it was Negaduck standing there, arms crossed. Though she couldn't control herself and gulped.

"What exactly do you think you're doing?" he growled at her.

"Uh, hi, Mr. Negaduck, sir." She couldn't look at him. He had that same disappointing face her father got when she had done something he had blatantly told her not to do. "I was looking for you."

"So I've heard. You've been searching for weeks but I'm not found unless I want to be, so what are you doing, spying on me? Has that idiotic father of yours sent a little girl to do his dirty work?" She noticed that his growling seemed to be heavy on the fact her father might be using her than on her willingly spying on him. That gave her hope for her plan.
