Fluff

The door creaked opened. I tried to cover my head, afraid of what it might be but I couldn't move. A horrible beast growled from the shadows of the corner of the room. It grabbed my foot and ripped me off the bed. I screamed as I landed with a hard thump. My muscles remembered how to move and I flailed, fighting the thing that had a hold on my throat. A light blinded me and the beast removed it self.

As my eyes adjusted, I realized I was sitting in the floor beside my bed. Jose, Panchito, and Donald were standing in my doorway in their pjs, holding the beast - which was actually my bed sheet. My eyes dropped to the floor.

"I'm sorry that I woke you guys up," I mumbled.

"Do not worry, cariño. We were worried about you," Jose dropped the blanket and offered me a hand.

"Thank you," I said, standing.

"No thank you, fofinho. You never let us see you with bed head," Panchito laughed. I immediately ran a hand through my hair, feeling self-conscious.

"No stop! It looks, hermosa." Jose grabbed my hand. "Donald Panchito grabbed their other hand!"

Donald dove for my arm and Panichto tackled me to the ground. They pinned me to the ground. We laughed and Donald tried to stand, and I laughed.

"Stop that tickles!" I realized what I said as it came out.

"Really?" Donald asked with an evil smile. The with that they started tickling me. They laughed as I struggle under the weight of them.

"I can't breathe. Guys, come on!" I gasped through my laughs.

"Okay, but only if you follow us," José pulled me up.

We bumped through the dark house, Panchito in the lead. We. Reached the living room and my eyes had readjusted to the dark. The entire room was smothered in blankets and pillows.

"What's this?" I asked. Ari made some noises, bowed, and ran off.

"We figured you wouldn't want to sleep alone after you woke up," Donald blushed, but so did I.

"You guys didn't have too."

"But we wanted too, cariño!" José said he pulled me into the pile.

I sat in the middle of the blankets and they gathered around, getting comfortable. My eyes felt heavy. I pulled them into a hug.

"I love you, guys," I yawned.

"We know o doce," Panchito kissed my forehead.

"Si," Jose mimicked him.

"We love you too," Donald copied as well.

I fell back asleep feeling safe.
