I hated sleeping in a bed. The boys didn't understand why and I wasn't keen on explaining it to them. This led to some me sleeping in some weird places.

Panchito, usually being the first one up, likes to play a game he called 'weirdest place ___ has ever slept'. There was even a wall covered in pictures of me sleeping, in the hallway. At first I had been embarrassed but when we started going on overnight adventures and I would wake up to find the boys huddle together I started adding my own pictures. Of course the most embarrassing ones always found themselves missing or in the bottom of the fire pit.

Last night I passed out in the hallway. Unoriginal and boring, definitely not top ten worthy. However it did make for a good surprise for Panchito who fell on me because he wasn't expecting to see me so soon. Usually I was at least in the living room but typically I was in the basement, like tonight.

I chose a pile of gold. It wasn't comfortable at all and I had to force my eyes close but usually the more uncomfortable the better. I fell into a dreamless sleep for what felt like a few hours. I heard some coins shift but didn't stir too much. It was probably Ari anyways. I know it wasn't when I felt arms around me. I could tell from the smell of breakfast spices that it was Panchito. I snuggled into his chest and after a moment I drifted back off to sleep. I drifted off to the nightmares I tried so hard to avoid.

They had changed over time. They used to be me watching my father die in a fire and now they evolved into creative ways that I could lose The Three Caballeros. I twisted in my sleep.

I watched in terror as a sword sliced José to ribbons and Donald was pulled limb from limb. I screamed and flung myself upwards out of the dream. Something clattered to the floor into the other room and Panichto was standing beside me.

"______ is everything okay?" I wiped my tears away. "Did you have a nightmare? You never talk about having dreams."

I blushed that he paid so much attention to me.

"Yeah I get them if I sleep on something soft unless I sleep with someone." I realized what I said. "I mean I would sleep in my mother's bed with her and they wouldn't come but now-"

He nodded understandingly and changed the subject.

"I have breakfast ready if you want some." He turned to leave.

I made my way to the kitchen and fell asleep in the chair spoon still in my mouth. José's laugh woke me up followed by a distinct click of a camera. He then promptly had a bowl of oats at him.

The day went by in blur and it was time to find a spot to sleep. I pulled a blanket off the couch and was stopped by Panchtio.

"Mi amiga, you can share my bed."

"I couldn't," I began but he pulled me into the room. I was hesitant but laid down on my back. He was out fast but I stared at the ceiling for what felt like hours. The bed felt nice. I hadn't allowed myself to even sit on one in years. I had been terrified I would accidentally fall asleep. "Thank you, Panchito."

I whispered and then rolled over, my eyelids finally feeling heavy. I woke up with my face in his chest. My blush only deepened when I realized he was awake. There was no telling how long he had been awake either.

"Sorry, you could have left me." I said trying to pull away but then I realized his arms were wrapped around me and they weren't moving.

"No need to apologize, mi amor. I don't want you to be scared." I smiled and snuggled back into him.

"You're too perfect." I whispered and hoped he heard me. I don't know how long I laid there but I could have sworn I heard a camera clicking.
