josh: oh- um... thanks f- for my stuff back

i just nod not knowing what to say.

josh: so... how are you?

i cant stand seeing him or speaking to him. i know it's been a while now but it's still hard. i get up and walk to the door.

you: i- i'm sorry i just- i can't do this yet. i'll see ya later bryce

i walk out the front door and drive. i wasn't mad about seeing josh but i was upset. kinda just wanna do what i normally do. curl up in his clothes and watch a movie. but- i gave his stuff back so now i can't do that. i take a long drive to clear my head and then finally go back to the hype house. i just go straight to bed because it's been a long day.

charli and i have been back in canada for 2 days now. i wake up to charli practically screaming.

charli: THEY ACCEPTED OUR OFFER!

i rub my eyes tiredly and yawn.

you: it's 3 in the fucking morning how the fuck did you find out?
charli: it's only midnight in LA dumbass.

i fall back to sleep. i'm glad they accepted our offer but it's too early right now. i try to go back to sleep and succeed. i then wake up around 10 AM and go downstairs to eat. i sit at the table with my family.

meredith: charli said you guys got the apartment?

charli is all smiley and excited.

you: ya but we gotta sort everything out and shi- stuff

my father nods.

charli: ooh! i can't wait to go furniture shopping!!

why is she always so perky? she's just a happy person i guess. me on the other hand, not so much. all that day charli and i sit on the phones with the bank and realtor. since we are both tiktokers, we make a good bit of money, meaning we can afford this place.
