ok so christmas time has rolled around. josh and i have been doing good with our relationship for a month now. things have never been better. today is december 12. charli and i invited all our friends over to do a secret santa thing. everyone has christmas plans so that's why we're starting now.

charli: ok ok enough. time to pick names.

we are all sitting around our glass circle coffee table. dixie chase josh lauren bryce jaden mads addison charli and i. josh still isn't chases biggest fan but we're letting it go for now. charli wanted him here and i'm good with him now so. anyways. i'm sitting on the couch in between josh's legs and leaning back on him.

charli: who wants to go first?
lauren: i'll go i guess

she picks. then chase. then bryce. then mads. then me. then dixie. then addison. then charli. then jaden. josh insisted on getting the last one. he calls it luck that he'll get a good one.

josh: looks like this one is mine

he grabs the last piece of paper. we all open them at the same time.

since it's now josh's name, i show him my slip.

josh: oh shit that's a tough one

i shrug. i feel like i could get jaden something music related. idk. josh shows me his slip of paper which reads "dixie" that's good because they've always been bestfriends. he knows what she would like. i'm really glad i didn't get charli bryce dixie or josh. i'm already getting them 4 presents. i did not wanna but one of them 2.

chase: so when are we exchanging?
mads: j and i are leaving on three 17th so gotta be before that.

pretty much everyone has christmas plans except dixie josh charli and i. dixie and charli were waiting to see what i do because of having the 2 families now. josh just procrastinates and hasn't planned anything with his family yet. i'm not really sure what i'm gonna do for this christmas but i should probably figure out soon.

bryce: why don't we just do the 16?

we all agree on the date. everyone heads home but josh is staying over. him and i are laying in my bed- well he's lying. i'm sitting against my headboard searching for a gift for jaden on my laptop. my clingy boyfriend keeps poking my side and putting his arms around me.

josh: find anything?
you: i have options. i don't know what to pick though. it's obviously gonna be something music related because that's what him and i bond over. you know?
josh: ya.
you: any ideas for dixie?
josh: no. i'm trying to remember our inside jokes. i could get her something funny and cheap but then have like a real present for her.
you: ok what do you guys joke about?
josh: uhhh literally everything

i laugh knowing it's true

you: ummm what's your favorite memory with her
josh:
probably when we went to the zoo- that's it!

he grabs my laptop and finds something on amazon. he shows me.

you: a 6 foot stuffed giraffe? *laughs
josh: ya. we went to the zoo a few years ago and she told me to take a picture of her in front of the giraffes. one started eating her hair and she's been scared of them ever since

i laugh. i do remember dixie having to cut her hair short because something happened.

josh: i'm definitely getting her that. but now i need like a real gift

i nod.

you: what if i get jaden something like a guitar? he's always telling me he wants to learn how to actually play
josh: he'd probably like that
you: i've gotta go out for that. i'll go tomorrow. you wanna come and see if you find anything for dix?
josh: sure.

i close my laptop after hitting order on the giraffe. i just used my card to order and josh gave me 49 bucks. it was expensive but it had a good story behind it which he found hilarious so he didn't care. plus the dude is a rich tiktoker so he couldn't care less.

josh: now. i think your boyfriend needs some attention
you: oh really? is that so?
josh: why yes. yes it is

i laugh and lean down pecking his lips before cuddling into him.
