Answer: Let's say that you just spent hours baking a cake from scratch. You even splurged on the good stuff for the ingredients. As soon as you finish frosting it, you set your hard work on your kitchen island. You decide to then sit on your front porch to enjoy the nice weather.
Let's say that random people smell your finished cake, walk past you, and open the screen door of your opened front door. Now, they proceed to your kitchen island, and poke your cake, to taste the icing. They then say let themselves our, stopping to say "You cake looks beautiful". How would your feel? They just messed up your cake with their grubby hands.
That's why. We slave over our hair for hours. Our natural hair isn't naturally done; we do it.
