There is nothing embarrassing about being single; that's a neutral default. Being is a bad relationship is being humiliated by your shameless partner. Being in a good relationship is being respected by your admirable partner.
Good partner > no partner > bad partner
Single people are instead judged based on their friends. Not all of your friends are your friends; some of your worst haters will befriend you because your archrival can't beat you in a fair fight. Whenever you do find a good friend, be good to them.
Good friend > no friend > bad friend
The company that you keep matters; you can try to keep-up appearances, but people see-through what you conceal. Settle down but don't just settle. People know how much or how little you love yourself based on who you love.
