So, watching Love Island was very insightful. Lol. I saw exactly why I fall for a Leo men, and then why things don't work out in the end. August men can sweep you off your feet, but they can also be heartbreakers. In retrospective analysis, Carrington and Kiersten were deju vu for a particular past relationship (even though my relationship had been a lot more complicated because of the guy's narcissistic abuse). Opposites attract, but despite the connection and the chemistry, the love languages are completely incompatible. Find someone who matches your energy, or you'll both feel drained and strained. The Goldilocks effect.
I hope that Kiersten is able to move on soon, because she needs someone who is just as passionate and affectionate, in relationships, as she is. She's excited to be with him while he's 'feeling good' about being with him. Carrington just isn't capable of meeting her emotional needs.
To use a metaphor: Her relationship satisfaction meter was, maybe, twice the size of his relationship satisfaction meter. His full is her half-empty. She needs more interactions to feel the same level of love from him as he does from her. That's overwhelming to both of them, so they are better off as just friends.
