Disney has shown that they no longer have a problem with having an African-descent princess. However, their decisions to not cast African-descent princes, along aside the African-descent princesses, is still a red flag. Their decision to not recast the Black Panther (who, in the comic books, was romantically involved with African women and African American women) connected to the same racial bias against African-descent males, and the cinematic cultural erasure of healthy "Black" families. It's a pattern of not depicting African-descent males as good fathers and good husbands.
Now, there is absolutely nothing wrong with interracial relationships at all. The issue is the lack of positive representation of African-descent males, and healthy "Black love". Why is Disney so reluctant to have African-descent males as the male romantic lead?
