Downfalls Always Start Small

Because of human nature, the cliche 'don't sweat the small stuff' is horrible advice. People are quick to confront each other over big matters, but people keep small issues to themselves. The problem with holding-in all the small stuff is that snall stuff builds up into a huge mess. Before you even realize it, all of those small issues slowly eat-away at the love, trust, loyalty, unity, agreement, and respect you once shared with the people/person who you love. Eventually, it all comes out at once.

It just takes one small flame to destroy a building. It just one pest to infest a building. It just takes one case of a disease to infect a entire building. It just takes one person to commit a crime. It just takes one weed to slowly kill all other plants in the area. It just takes one juror's judgement to change the case decision. It just takes one leak to poison an entire building. It just takes one car accident or plane crash to die. It just takes one storm to have a natural disaster. It just takes one attack to start a war. It just takes one rumor to ruin someone's reputation. One bad apple spoils the whole bunch. Never underestimate the power of small; never underestimate the power of one.

Measure twice, cut once. Always double-check. Always perception-check. If something is bothering you, at least let the other person/people know, even if right now "it's no big deal"; nip the small issues in the bud. Don't wait to address issues until it's too late to overcome them; don't set yourself up to fail.
