Everyone is capable of toxic behavior. If a behavior isn't abusive, it can still be toxic. Abusive behaviors are 100% about dominance and 0% about the abuser's emotional state; the cycle of abuse is never just someone having occasional temper-tantrums. Temper-tantrums are toxic behaviors when someone loses control of their own temper. Toxic behaviors are emotional responses to internal and/or external stimuli. Spite is one common cause of toxic behavior. Rehabilitation for toxic behaviors is possible; anger management classes, therapies, and meditation are some of the ways to learn self-control with healthy coping methods.
