Daddy issues take many forms. Growing up with a deadbeat daddy, you get miseducated about how a man should be. Fatherless women have to unlearn everything wrong that their dad taught them, by being absent, by being toxic, by being irresponsible, by being inconsistent, by being a bad dad. Once you normalize your deadbeat dad's behavior, you think it's acceptable in the men you get involved with.
You don't know any better. You have to teach yourself what a man should be. You have to listen to yourself for what you need out of a relationship You have to learn the hard way how a man shouldn't treat a woman. That's a huge disadvantage. That's trauma. God will heal you and guide you.
