Nakangiti lamang ako habang sinasabi 'yon sa mga pasaherong bumababa palabas ng eroplano. The happiness I'm feeling right now is just so overwhelming.

Nang makalabas ang lahat ng pasahero ay sumunod na rin kaming mga attendants palabas dahil magpapaiwan pa yata ang ibang crews.

"You look like you're in a hurry. You have a date?" ani Nicolaides na katulad ko ay isang flight attendant din sa Adora Airlines.

I smiled at him. The sunlight is hitting against my face. The heat it's giving me and the air that I'm breathing makes me want to live more and explore life.

"Oh yeah. I still have a wedding to attend, Nico." sagot ko sa kan'ya. Nicolaides is an Italian guy but he lives in Greece for three years now. I've met him while I'm on training. Mahirap ang mga naging araw ko sa pagte-training pero kinaya ko naman.

Dahil hindi ko mararating ang posisyon ko ngayon kung hindi dahil sa mga taong sumusuporta sa akin habang inaabot ko ang mga pangarap ko. I'm grateful to God because he didn't let me waste my life years ago when my foster parents died. He gave me light amidst of chaos and darkness.

I've learned in life that you shouldn't give up that easily when you really want to pursue something. You won't let your demons devour you wholly. You'll fight them and find your way to a better tomorrow. And as for me, I found the light and just like a beautiful ocean, I'm aesthetic in my own way.

"You're a godmother?" He chuckled.

Natawa rin ako at sabay na kaming naglakad papasok sa Adora Airlines. Mula rito ay kitang-kita namin ang hindi mabilang na mga tao sa loob ng Airlines.

"Well, I think so. They don't have a choice." I replied and shrugged my shoulder a bit.

Wala na rin naman akong iba pang flight ngayong araw na 'to dahil huling flight ko ngayong araw ang katatapos lang na mag-land na eroplano.

Nang makapasok kami sa loob ng Airlines ay dagsaan nga talaga ang mga tao. Marami ang nakaupo sa waiting bench para sa kanilang mga flights. Ang iba naman ay nasa counter para siguro ay magpa-book.

"Well, I guess we'll part ways from here?" sabi ko kay Nicolaides.

He offered his hand to me. Tumingin naman ako sa kan'ya na malaki ang pagtataka. Bahagya itong yumukod sa akin.

"Well, thank you for the nice flight with you, Miss Oceane Marine." aniya dahilan para bahagya akong matawa.

I slightly bowed down my head as well. Ramdam ko ang mga tingin sa amin ng karamihan ngunit hindi ko 'yon pinansin. Sa nakalipas na anim ba taon ay natutunan kong buohin ang kumpyansa ko sa asking sarili. I'm more confident now with myself. I don't care about other people's opinion as long as I knew to myself what's the truth and the better.

"Yes. It's nice to ride in the sky with a guy like you, Nico."

Matapos naming magpaalam sa isa't isa ay dumiretso na agad ako sa parking lot kung saan naka-park ang kotse ko. Levi is in the Philippines together with Mom and Dad. They'll stay there for the mean time and I was the only one left here because I still have a flight in Rome that time.

Pero baka sa susunod na linggo ay susunod na rin ako ro'n sa kanila. I'll take a leave. Nami-miss ko na rin sila Nanay, Tatay at si Yana. I wanted to at least visit them for not being around in six years. It's been so long. I wonder what happened there when I left?
