A/N: *no note*
Jin-ae POV:
I bowed towards the two adults, as a sign of respect, and a few seconds after, stood back up straight.
That was until I saw a familiar face, smiling at me.
Me- "Choi Sujin?"
She lifted her hand and gave me a small wave, barely trying to hide the smirk.
Sujin- "Jin-ae-ah, nice to see you here"
Sujin's mom- "Do you guys know each other?"
Sujin- "Yea, classmate in our school"
She said, while remaining eye contact with me, I felt irritation knowing she would use this against me when we get back to school.
Her mother looked at me and smiled
Sujin's mom- "How does it feel to be the step-daughter of a really famous celebrity?"
She asked, putting emphasis on "step-daughter"
I got taken aback from her question and looked back at Sujin for one second.
I caught a small glance and she looked at me shocked while smirking to the side.
I sighed a bit, not too noticeable for them to see and answered the question
Me- "It feels normal, nothing different"
I said while awkwardly smiling, Sujin's mom nodded while turning back to face Hwang-Jae
Hwang-Jae- "Let's go inside, the kids might catch a cold"
She said with a warm smile on her face, changing the subject.
I stayed close to my dad and Hwang-Jae while walking into the restaurant all the way to the reserved room they had for the 7 of us.
I thanked the waitress and stepped inside while removing my coat and letting it hang on the coat stand
Sujin's dad- "I don't think we were able to finish our introductions, I'm Sujin's dad"
He extended his hand for a handshake as I quickly got up and shook his hand.
Me- "I'm Jin-ae, Sujin's classmate"
I said with a small smile after he took his hand away from mine
Sujin's dad- "Oh and this is my eldest son, Ji-hoon"
I lightly bowed towards him and so did he towards my parents and then to me, I softly tapped Hwang-Jae to get her attention and bent towards me a little bit
Hwang-Jae- "Hm?"
Me- "Why aren't you and appa introducing yourselves? To Sujin or to.. uhm.. Ji-hoon op..pa ( way of referring to an older person but is still young if that makes sense )?"
Hwang-Jae- "Oh, well they know us already, they just don't know you yet"
I nodded in response and she smiled.
The dinner went for a long while and all they talked about was Hwang-Jae getting into a new relationship and so on and so forth.
I didn't rly listen to the rest, I just sat, smiled and nodded.
Free food though.
After a few more drinks for the adults and a few more bites of food for everybody else, they decided to have this dinner come to an end.
On a good note, I could finally sleep but on a bad note, one, I don't know what the hell Sujin is planning and it's not good for sure, two, we don't get to take some left overs home
