chapter 42: Results

A/n: just a reminder that I don't know how the SAT procedure works so I'm just writing how I think it is.

Jin-ae POV:

Not gonna lie, even if I ratted Sujin out who knows, someone else might get a higher rank than I do.

Right now it was the day of the results and it was currently 4:58 am. I was in the kitchen, making some porridge and preparing a bit more to give to Eunwoo.

I got a paper bag and put the vitamins, the porridge, throat-soothing candies, a few energy bars and finally just some simple plain crackers. I put in a small 'get well soon' letter and finished everything else up.

5:29 am

I quickly went to my room to get some more paper for my binder notebook and replaced it.

After running down the stairs, I grabbed both my school bag and the paper bag.

Rushing out of the house, I made sure to say goodbye to everyone and finally left on my bike.

~ A bunch of pedalling later ~

I finally arrived in front of his house and checked the time again.

5:55 am

I still have a lot of time.

I got off my bike and held the paper bag in my hands, swiftly walking towards the door step. I pushed the doorbell and a few minutes later, Eunjae's head popped out.

Eunjae- "Hai, eonnie"

She said with a smile, I waved and smiled back as she opened the door a bit more and stood up straight.

Eunjae- "What's that?"

She pointed at the paper bag.

Me- "Oh it's for your brother, this one is for you"

I said as I gave a her a paper bag too. It had some tteokbokki inside with cheese to go along with it as well as some bulgogi and juice for her.

She tried to contain a smile as she scanned through the bag.

Eunjae- "Is that one for oppa?"

I nodded and handed it to her. She held both of them in her hands then looked back at me.

Eunjae- "Eonnie, do you have any other male or female friends that are actually decent with looks and personality?"

Me- "Hmmm"

I said as I thought for a sec, I mean there's Sanha and he's like a year younger than us basically a year older than herrr but they wouldn't seem like a good couple.

I ended up shaking my head and she looked disappointed. Then I realized what she said again.

Me- "Wait, girls too?"

She looked at me and pursed her lips.

Me- "Do I take the silence as a yes?"

I said with a smile slowly growing on my face. She slowly nodded and my jaw slightly dropped.

Tears started to form in her eyes and I quickly wrapped my arms around her.

Me- "Hey hey hey don't cry it's fine, it's not wrong, it's okay to like both"

I said while letting her cry on my shoulder as I rubbed my hands up and down her back.

Me- "Does your brother know?"

Eunjae- "Kind of?"

Me- "What do you mean by that?"

I let go of the hug and wiped some of her tears that were down her cheeks.
