chapter 47: Arrival

Third person POV:

Jin-ae was now studying for the test tomorrow...again...in the middle of the night...with chips and water for snacks.

She mumbled a few words, aware that her roommate was now sound asleep, and continued jotting down notes.

Thankfully, the test was on a Friday, so the next day she could go to the apartment she bought with Ayeong and rest there for a few days.

Every time she was about to fall asleep, she would stub her toe at the edge of her bed, immediately waking her up.

Painful right? Yea ouch I felt that.

Few minutes later, she checked the time.

3:58 am

She sighed and decided to recite the criminal laws and codes that they had to memorize. She then went to brush her teeth, threw away the plastic wrappers of the chips and went to bed.

Well she almost did.

She realized it was almost her birthday, fortunately it was on a Saturday, the day she gets back to the apartment to rest.

What a great day it would be.

Eunwoo decided to rent a small unit in an apartment complex to stay in for a while until his 2 months were over.

Once he put everything into place, he started thinking about what he would be able to do for Jin-ae's birthday.

It's on a Saturday...is she gonna be in the dorm or at her apartment?

Well he can't ask her, that would ruin the surprise.

He then thought of something and opened a chat.

"Ayeong, are you busy?"

He texted.

- nope, not really, why??

I have a quick favor to ask -
