Spoilers for season 15- If you haven't watched it yet, then go watch it and then read this! Also, Jay angst because that is the mood that this goddamn finale put me in. If you don't want to be sad, then probably don't read this either.

Every memory was gone to her, and Jay knew that.

With in the week, she wouldn't remember anything about her life in Ninjago.

It was only a matter of time before she forgot all about them.

It was a lie that she told them when she said that she would remember.

Did everyone else know that too?

Jay sighed as he slowly rose out of bed. He was trying so hard to continue on with his life after the funeral, but he found it harder and harder to get up everyday. Nya wouldn't have liked him to give up, and that was honestly the only reason why he was doing this. She gave up her life for him, and this was the only thing that he could ever do to repay her.

He slowly opened the door, and he was aware of the deathly silent air that greeted him. The team was going to fall a part again, just like it did with Zane all of those years ago. She had to have known what this sacrifice was going to do to the team. She had to have known what the sacrifice was going to do to him.

Jay felt himself travelling down the hall to the room that they were holding their shrine for Nya where her vase was held. He took a deep breath as he opened the door and sat in front of the vase. The picture above it was glaring at him, and he felt his eyes burn. Her half of their pendant was placed next to her photo, mocking him.

He was supposed to save her, and he didn't do that.

He lost her because he couldn't get out in time.

This was all of his fault.

The team lost her because of him.

She wouldn't have done this if he had been stronger.

He tried so hard to protect her and to support her. He always wanted her to go and do what made her happy. That was why he refused to throw himself onto work on trying to bring her back. Everyone else was either crying or working for her to return. Jay felt the tears trying to fall off of his eyes, and he quickly wiped them. He didn't want her to feel his pain.

Nya was happy.

He was going to support her, even if it killed him.

She found where she felt like she belonged.

She decided that she didn't belong with him.

She wasn't Nya anymore. Nya died to protect him from the water that was suffocating him. That being was her element. There was nothing that they could do for her.

Jay knew that there was.

He could go find the teapot.

He could wish her back.

She wouldn't be happy if he did that.

Nadakhan would kill him if he did that.

He just missed his Yang. She was the only one who actually understood him, and now she was gone. She was with the sea now, and Jay was never going to the sea again. He couldn't bring himself to see her. Not when she wasn't her. That person wasn't his Nya at all. His Nya would have let him say goodbye.

All of their life plans were taken away from them too.

They weren't going to have their dream wedding.
