It Is A Drunk Party

Jay noticed Nya's behavior when she was tired. It changed drastically throughout the years, but this was a new side he had seen of her. She was acting as though she was drunk, and based on the party that everyone else was having right now, she really might have been.

He rolled his eyes as he watched before going out to steer the ship. Generally speaking, he would have loved to party with everyone else on the Bounty, but someone had to be sober enough to steer the Bounty. Jay took that job to himself as soon as he saw the drinks come out. He wasn't a big drinker, and he already pictured what was going go happen when the drinks started coming out of the makeshift kitchen.

It was after he and Nya ultimately made up after the issue of the Munce Queen. Generally speaking, he would have thought Nya wouldn't take to the festivities that they generally had, but she did this time. This led to Jay deciding to be the responsible one and to not get drunk. It was funny to think that even Wu was getting in on the festivities. He couldn't picture a drunk Wu at all.

Really what Jay was nervous about was the Vengestone Buyer that he had a feeling they would run into at some point. He wouldn't really worry about this, except for the fact that he couldn't help but remember his unfortunate times with the stuff. He had a feeling that the stone was for them, and that is what made Jay really nervous. Everyone else pushed him off as being paranoid, but Jay just knew what was coming.

He could feel the annoyance that Wu must have had every time they slacked off after a big battle because he was feeling it in this exact moment. It might have even been mixed with some disappointment with his team, which was something that he didn't feel with them very often. Well, not with the whole team. Generally, he was disappointed with one of them at a time, not all of them at once, and it was very overwhelming. He didn't like the feeling at all, and he was starting to hate himself for even feeling it.

A door opened and he briefly heard the music become louder, before it went quiet again. Jay would have looked to see who it was, but he didn't really care. He was not going to get involved with this Party, no matter how much convincing they tried. He already denied it 7 times. He hated being responsible. Why did this have to happen now?

"You should come paaaaaaaaaaaaaaarty with us. I'm gonna light Cole on firrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrre." Kai slurred as he wrapped an arm around Jay, which caused him to raise his eyebrow.

"I'm not going to do that. Also, that is probably a terrible idea." Jay said, already seeing Cole's burnt body in his head."

"I'm full of terrible ideas. We agreed to try them all out though." Kai said as he laughed, drunk.

"Alright. How much have you had to drink?" Jay asked as he crossed his arms and pulled Kai's arm off of him.

"Did I ever tell you how cute you are? I think we should get married." Kai slurred as he took another drink.

Jay looked at Kai in bewilderment.  He briefly wondered if he should call Skylor about this, but then decided against it. He quietly started recording the conversation so that he could use it for blackmail later. They would never believe him without proof. This was way more fun than getting drunk.

"What was that, Kai? I don't think I quite heard you." Jay asked, a smirk coming up on his features.

"I said, Have I ever told you how cute you are? I think that we should get married. Oh, maybe we can get a dog, and our kids can have Cole's face on their butts with Zane's powers and...." Kai said as he broke down laughing.

"I'm dating your Sister, Kai." Jay said as he tried really hard not to laugh at this.

"Oooooo, is she hot too? Maybe we could all have some fun later." Kai said as he looked up at Jay.
