Y/n

Wanda POV
Everyone was crushed by what we have witnessed.
Y/n lost her boyfriend because of this mission and she was all alone for this time. No one was by her side. She coped on her own and didn't have any support. Because she wasn't allowed to tell anyone. Not a single soul. Nat looked into Tony's direction who was paralyzed by the way Y/n was losing her love. Nat cleared her throat to get Tony's attention.
„I hope you took a copy of the flash drive Tony?"
He looked to her and cleared his throat „of course I did. Friday took a copy of everything. I won't be standing in the dark about the things my daughter was involved in for half a decade." he looked angry at Steve who was just looking down onto the table.
„I will go and keep an eye on Y/n." I stood up and went straight to the med bay.

Y/n was laying on the bed motionless. The only thing that assured me that she was alive is that her chest was slowly rising up and down. The machines beeping and giving the sign that she is alive. Seeing her in pain is awful. She had been through so much on her own and that all for her team. She lost her everything and nobody was by her side to help her cope. I can't imagine how it was for her. When I lost Pietro I had a whole team to help me cope. Nat was an amazing friend as well Clint and Vision just like everyone else. They kept my mind busy and also let me have alone time to process everything. They pulled me through and I came out in the end. I didn't lose myself in the pain. They guided me through it. But Y/n.. she didn't have anyone and it breaks my heart to know that she was alone.
I didn't know what to do when I am around her. So I decided to talk to her, even tho she can't answer.
„Hey it's me Wanda. I don't know if you can hear me or not but I want you to know that I am here. I will be there when you wake up. Everyone is waiting for you." I stopped for a moment to collect my thoughts.
„I wanted to say that I am so sorry for what i did. The way I acted was out of line and I can't help but blame myself for what has happened to you. I made you leave and I lead you directly into this situation." I started to cry. „I can't express to you how sorry I am. I shouldn't have said the things I said to you."
I know that I don't get a response but I was scanning her body for any signs. Even if it is a minimum move of her eyelids or the corner of her lips. I was waiting for a hand move but there was nothing.

Nat POV
I went to the bed bay to check on Y/n. I knew that Wanda was keeping an eye on her but still. I fell so guilty for not being there for her. I missed her so much and all she did was leave for the team. I was so blind not to see it. I was standing behind Wanda outside of the med bay. She was facing Y/n and had her back turned to me so she didn't notice when I walked in. I stood there watching them from a distance Y/n's chest rising slowly up and down. Wanda looking her up and down like she was waiting desperately for a movement. I don't know what it is but she seems to be pretty intrigued about Y/n. They don't know each other for long but there is a tension between them. Even a blind person could sense it. I known that they shared a night together but still. I moved closer and walked around Y/n's bed to the the other side so that I can face them both. I stood there with crossed arms looking between them curious. She noticed how I was analyzing both. „Is everything okay Nat?" Wanda questioned me. „What is it between the two of you?" I pointed my fingers between them. „I am not blind so there must be something." Y/n already told me the night of the accident that she had something with Wanda but I wanted to hear it from her too. She looked to Y/n for a moment and then back to me. „I don't know how to say this.. but the night before Y/n arrived here at the compound she went to a bar. I didn't know who she was. We met there and enjoyed each other's company. There was something about her that m-." i interrupted her before she could finish „that made you forget everything around you." She raised her brows at me saying that like I read her mind. „Yes exactly. We drank to much and one thing lead to the other. She showed me her loft and we ended up spending the night in the same bed." I wasn't surprised at the fact that Y/n loves women. I mean who doesn't. But Y/n has always been with boys. She loves both of the genders and so do I. But Wanda was really surprising me. „I didn't know that you like women." she blushed a bit at my comment. „Neither did I." I raised my brow at her answer. „I mean I always kinda felt drawn to women but I never did something with one. Until she came along." Wanda pointed at Y/n who was still laying there motionless. „Do you regret it?" she was surprised by my question. „No of course not. Not a single second was filled with regret. But I regret doing it while I was drunk. But still I loved it from the start to the end." she smiled softly at me.
I nod at her „good to know you're side too." „too?" she asked. „Yeah Y/n already told me the night of the party before it escalated. She was sad and angry."
Wanda looked down at her hands. „I am so sorry. It's my fault that she lays here right now." she tilted her head to Y/n's bed. „No it's not Wands. Don't say that. What brought her here are the past five years."
„What if she won't wake up? I don't want her to think that I hate her." I shook my head no to her statement „stop it Wanda, you don't get to think that she won't wake up alright? We can't lose hope on her. She will wake up don't worry. She is just a lazy ass." Wanda laughed a little about my last comment. „Please tell me something about her. I know you haven't seen each other in years but what was she like?" I glanced over at her for a moment. I grabbed a chair and sat down at the same spot I was standing before. „I don't know where to start. She is the most genuine person I have met. She has a sarcastic personality but also really loving and caring for the people she loves. She is hard to read. She doesn't let her guard down to easy. Building up walls around her was a defensive mechanism. That is one thing that we have in commen. But it clicked when we met and since then we became inseparable."
„Why was she building up wall?" I glanced over to
Y/n and back to Wanda. „Her life was pretty lonely. What no one expected. I mean she is the daughter of Tony Stark and Pepper Potts, but she was practically living her life in Boarding schools and academies." I held in for a moment. „Tony and Pepper thought it would be safer for her to be out of this life. Keeping her away from the Avengers. But she was also kept away from her parents and that for a long time."
Before I could move on with telling Wanda story's about Y/n we heard a beeping of the machine Getting faster with every second.

„Nat w-what is going on?" her Heart beat stopped and I feel like mine stopped too. „Shit her Heart stopped beating." I jumped up onto her bed and started to resurrect her. „Friday get Bruce into the med bay immediately. Y/n heart beat stopped." it didn't take long and Bruce walked in with Tony by his side. „What happened Nat why did her heart stop?" Bruce and Tony asked at the same time. „We we're just talking to each other and it stopped out of no were. Everything was fine." I heard how Tony and Bruce were moving medical supplies behind me.
„Nat I need you to move now." I moved away and  Bruce started CPR on her. „charging pallets to 250."
Tony and Bruce glanced at me and Wanda. We were standing I shock. „Girls I need you to leave. It's hard for you to see her like this so it's best if you would leave." nobody was moving an inch. Wanda and I were glued to our spot just watching how they tried to revival Y/n. „charged to 250." Tony gave Bruce the pallets. He placed them onto Y/n's body. „Clear!" Tony moved away from the bed and Bruce let out an electro shock. Nothing. The heart beat monitor was flat. „Charge to 350." Tony charged up „CLEAR!" Her body jumped up from the shock, but still a flat line. „Again charge to 450." Tony looked desperate. Wanda grabbed onto my hand and squeezed it tight.
„AGAIN CLEAR!!" and he shocked her again. All of a sudden we became a heart beat. The line was pacing up and down to the rhythm of her hollow heart beat. Everyone was released at bringing her back. We all exhaled at the same time. I was silently crying while Wanda let out a sobbing cry. She held her hand up to her mouth to stop the sobbing from becoming louder. „Okay we need to keep an close eye on her." Tony mentioned taking Y/n's hand into his. „we can take shifts through the days and nights." Bruce Said.
„Yes we will definitely take part of it." Wanda said while still crying. I nodded at her.
„Bruce how will this effect on her? She was out to often." Bruce looked between everyone before speaking up. „He body will heal, but I don't know if her mind will. Being without oxygen in the brain for so often can cause memory loss. She might forget somethings."
