Y/n POV
Wanda was really trying her best to help me open up but I still don't feel like I should. I don't know how to describe it but It's like I feel nothing but also everything at the same time. We both sat on the kitchen floor not moving an inch of our body. We both glanced at each other. I was pouring my tears out in silence and Wanda just kept me company. She didn't want to leave that was clear. I don't know for how long we have been sitting on the ground but my attention went out of a sudden immediately to Wanda, because her phone started to ring. She was a bit jumpy at her phone ring but she took it out of her pocket and picked up immediately. „Wanda is everything alright? I haven't heard from you for hours and I started to get worried. Have you found Y/n?" I can hear the person on the other line. It was Nat. Wanda glanced at me before answering the impatient and worried Nat on the other line. „Yes she is in her loft I found her don't worry. Sorry for not calling you." „Good I was about to go look for her on my own but it's good to know that she is with you. I need you to keep her occupied for a couple more hours." why should she keep me occupied? Wanda was starting to worry and stood up to leave for a bit privacy in her call with Nat, but I still could hear their voices. „What do you mean with keep her occupied? Is something wrong?" I tried to focus more on the voices and I could hear Nat muffed through the phone. „Some agents and scientists arrived here at the compound. Their currently in the Meeting room with Stark but I don't know what they want exactly. It seems like they are looking for Y/n. So keep her at the loft for an hour or more. Just in case something happens." Wanda glanced at me for a moment and turned around again for answering Nat. „I will but keep me updated please." „I will, just keep her busy until we know more about this situation. Something feels off about it." she hung up and turned her attention back to me.

Nat POV
I hung up on the call and turned my attention back to the meeting room. I entered and everyone was waiting for me. Steve and Tony sitting on on side of the table and the two strangers on the other side of the table. I nod and placed myself next to Tony on his left side. Before someone could start the conversation Tony cleared his throat and begann to talk. „So I am pretty surprised to have visitors here. I don't know what you want but I can assure you that we don't have it." Tony sounded sarcastic but also tense at the same time. They glared at him and one off them begann to speak up. „Before we get into anything we would like to introduce ourselves properly." the man pointed at him self while saying
„I am certified special agent Schmidt and on my left is doctor Heller. We are here to ask you a couple questions about Y/n Stark." he had a deep voice and a light accent. I think it's German. The name says it all. „Pleasure. I am Steve Rogers. To my left is Tony Stark and Natasha Romanoff." Steve spoke up and motioned into our direction. „We know who you Are but thank you still for introducing yourself Captain America." he was answering cold. „Well you might know us but we don't know any of you. I didn't catch it right where are you from exactly? And who are you working for?" Tony wanted to dig into their life further and they gave us a brief answer. „I am the Director of the Military counterintelligence in Germany, and dr. Heller is the leader of an university for scientific research."
„What brings us the pleasure that a director of the Military counterintelligence is giving us a visit?"
He glanced at me and looked me up and down in some kinda disgust. „We Are looking for Y/n Stark. We are currently working with her on a project and we think that she submerged here." Tony's brows pulled together before answering „I don't know why you are looking for her, but we can assure you that she isn't here. As you can see." be stretched his arms out to motion that she isn't around. „We got informations that she was seen in New York. She is an important part of our project and we need her with us. We would be pleased if you would hand her over." he was answering in a strict tone while crossing his arms. „Mister Stark already told you that Y/n isn't here. We haven't seen her in years we can assure you that." the director glared Steve up and down and moved his attention back to Tony.
„Mister Stark." he begann while putting his hands together. „We insist to get Y/n back. She is needed in Germany. So please hand her over." Tony glanced at him with an  angry face. „I haven't seen my daughter since five years. She isn't around here." He narrowed his eyes at us and absorbing the whole situation. He obviously didn't believe us. But we didn't believe him either. He glanced at the doctor to sign her to get up with him. They other got up and started to pack up.
„Sad to know that she isn't here Mister Stark. She has something that belongs to us." he grabbed into his jacket and slides us a business card over. „I insist if you hear anything from her we would be pleased to know. My apologies for disturbing you." he was awfully nice and I could throw up on this spoiled beaver. They moved to the door and just before he walked out he turned on last time to face us three.
„We will hear from each other soon Avengers. It was a pleasure." he smiled and disappeared behind the door leaving us all behind.

Wanda POV
I didn't know what to do with the information to keep Y/n occupied and away from the compound.
I feel like she knows that something is off. I turned around to her and saw that she was still on the ground where she was before. „Who was it?" she asked curious but I think she already knows who it was. „You're best friend. She was worried about me not calling. I assured her that were okay." I smiled softly at her to hide any other emotion. „She cares so much about me." she smiled slightly but there was a hint of sadness behind the smile. „What's wrong? You sound sad about her caring?" she shook her head no and said quietly „I will probably get the Award for being the worst best friend ever and she still cares." I raised my brows at this unexpected response. „What do you mean by that. You're not a bad friend Y/n." she scoffed at me. „I left her five years ago. I left for this damn mission that brought me misery in the end. I didn't even tell her that it was a mission." she lowered her head. She sounds like she is ashamed of herself and disappointed. „You had no other choice Y/n." „I at least should have told her that I was going for a mission. It would have been better for her. But I had to keep it hidden. I even had to leave without an goodbye but she found me before I left. She was absolutely furious at me and I don't deserve.. don't deserve that she still cares for me like this." tears started to roll down her face once again. „You're still best friends Y/n. She cares so much for you and you shouldn't think like that. You would do the same if you would be standing in her shoes." „I am really happy that she gained you as a close friend. She isn't opening up to everyone." I smiled at her „she isn't the only one who isn't opening up to everyone. You have a lot in common." she smiled at me for saying that. „I know. It's just easier to build up walls around you." „yeah it might be easier. But it also makes you're life lonesome." she leaned her head back against the kitchen counter. With closed eyes she said „it is lonesome, but it will harm you from pain. You see what letting my walls down caused me. Misery. It won't happen again." she is building up those walls again. Higher and thicker to break through. I get it why she is doing it but I won't stop trying to break them down. I don't want her to feel lonely or left behind. „Yin and yang are varying, but they can't live without each other." she looked down at me and lowered her head. Her eyes where glossy and her cheeks red from holding sobbing back.
„You're telling me that good can't live without misery?" I shrugged my shoulders „yeah kinda of. With love comes pain. That belongs  together but the love will overcome the pain and it will be worth it." she chuckled at my answer „Maximoff you're way to poetic. What's going on in that beautiful head of yours?" I blushed at her hidden compliment but I brushed it off. „I don't know guess I am on of those ‚old souls'." she smiled softly at me and mumbled in a quiet breath „yeah you might." almost so quiet that you couldn't hear it. But I did. We stared into each other's eyes for a moment. There was silence that filed the room, but it wasn't an awkward one. It was a comforting silence and I really liked it. My phone buzz brought us out of our stare and I looked immediately at it. Nat responded. „You're clear to come back. We have something to discuss. It's bad."
Well that doesn't sound promising at all.
