Y/n POV

„Okay so let me get this correct..." Nat began as everyone sat in the meeting room to discuss our further going. „You want to go back to you're old apartment hoping that Thomas will be there? You do know that we need both, because I don't think that Schmidt will be sharing this apartment with his son." she explained and I just shrugged my shoulders as if it's not that much of a big deal.
„Are out of it Y/n?" she asked and I let out a sight because I didn't hear that reference for the first time. „I said the same thing." Wanda mumbled under her breath and I glared at her. „Not really supportive Wanda." I answered and turned my attention back to the others. „It will be just a quick observation guys." I leaned forward on the table letting my elbows rest. „You will be seconds or minutes away on helping me if anything goes south. Good thing is that when we get Thomas and capture him Schmidt will be looking for him and he will crawl out of his hiding place." Steve leaned forward looking at me. „Are you sure about it?" he asked concerned wich i understand. „I think so. I mean this is the only clue we have in weeks. Let us at least try." I said pleading everyone. „Okay. But we will have you surrounded completely. It's to risky to lose you again. We will be in the air and we will surround you. So there won't be a way on running away. Whoever will be there can't escape."
„Nothing will happen guys. I have you now with me." I smiled slightly and Steve tapped on my shoulder. „Right. So let's suit up. We have a mission." And with that everyone got up to get ready.

Our flight was shorter as expected. I mean I was flying with the jet but still. Guess the Quinjet has a lot of perks. „Alright we're almost there. Y/n we will let you out around a Kilometer away from You're old place. You will keep us updated before you enter and we will be surrounding you. Is there anything that we forgot?" he asked and i shook my head. „I don't think There will be any guards because this is a living area. But you still should keep you're eyes open. The woods is close area. There could be hiding there just in case." i said reminding myself that we went often hiking in the woods. „Okay good shot Y/n. We will keep an eye on that too. Alright it's time." the Quinjet door opened as we hovered only a couple meters above the ground. I took Wanda to the open doors and gave her a kiss on the forehead. „I will be waiting for you." She said sounding concerned and worried. „And I will come back to you." i stroked her cheeks. „Always." I smiled lightly at her.
„I love you." she said and I kissed her but now on her soft lips. „I love you too." I leaned my forehead against hers. I glanced one more time into her mesmerizing eyes trying to remember them as good as I can. I jumped out and landed smoothly on the ground. I turned around seeing the jet fly away to hide somewhere. „Alright Y/n can you hear me? Copy please. Over." I heard Rogers talking through the ear piece. „loud and clear Rogers. Over." I mumbled under my breath trying not to look stupid while I was talking to my self. There where some civilians walking around on the streets. „Good. How is the are?" he asked and I looked around seeing not so many people as usual.

„It's usually packed in these streets but it's surprisingly quiet today. It's a normal work day here wich means everyone should be busy with work or school." I walked down the street as memories flashed back of Thomas and I on how we used to be when it was just us. When it was easy. I stoped standing in front of a sitting bank surrounded by flowers. I saw myself sitting there with him smiling and laughing about how silly he was. „Y/n you're not moving? Is everything alright?" Wanda now asked through the ear piece ripping me out of my throughs. I cleared my throat. „Yeah everything's fine. Just got distracted for a moment. Heading to my... I mean the apartment now."
I watched at the bell ring not seeing our names anymore on our bell. Seems like he isn't here. But I still need to look. Cracking doors open was an easy thing since I got my Powers. They just crack open like a stick of wood. „Alright I'm in. Heading up now. It's the second floor."
„Good Y/n be careful, we will be listening." Rogers exclaimed and I put my attention to walk into the apartment. I froze for a moment standing there where I used to live a couple years ago. I let out a sight grabbing the door handle. „Heading in Rogers over." I whispered and opened the door slowly. As I stepped in I could feel how my memories jumped back into my head. I walked through the rooms checking every single one. It was still decorated the was I had it in memory from the last time. Our bed was unmade. My things laid around. My plants. Even our pictures where still hanging on the wall.
The kitchen was clean. Only one cup laying in the sink wich means someone must've been here recently. I walked up to the bathroom smelling his shampoo and conditioner. It was a smell of comfort once but now it just twitches my stomach upside down. As I walked into the living room I saw weapons on the table. Of course they had the hydra Symbol in them wich made me go insane on the inside. „Clear cap this place is empty." I let out a sight still whispering. „Good now come ba-." my attention was cut of by the door opening.
I froze in my spot not having a chance to move because I was caught off guard. I felt his presence stronger. „Sure You're alone?" he walked in on me and I feel like my heart dropped to the ground.

„What cat stole you're tongue? You alway have something to say. Go ahead we got time." he smiled innocently at me and I knew he was teasing me with his behavior. „Where's you're father?" I asked getting straight to the point not wasting any time. „Ouch. That hurt. I thought you came all the way from home to see me and not my grumpy dad." he wasn't even denying that he is his son.
„He is busy. You know how much work it is to be the devil it self." he said sitting down on the couch where we had our nights cuddled up. „Wanna join me? I see it in you're eyes I know you do." he tapped the free space next to him but I didn't move. „Come on Y/n what happened to the time we used to have. I miss it if I can be honest."
I scoffed at him. „You know the Time when you lied to me constantly?" he raised his brows at me.
„Well i want the only one lying. I knew who you where from the beginning but I wanted to see if I can build up the trust so high that you would tell me the truth. But eventually you are just as bad as I am." he said and I felt how rage builded up inside of me. „I am nothing like you. And I will never be like you." he smiled at me viciously. „Oh you Are babe. You just don't see it. Remember the people you've killed when the lab exploded. Oh or the ones you killed when we worked together as a dream team. You didn't have mercy for everyone back then." I stepped back from him as he said that. „This wasn't my fault." I breathed out now tears forming in my eyes. He is still controlling me after all this time. „It doesn't matter if it is or not. The blood is on your hands. You can't erase that much red. That much blood." he grinned hat me.
„This wasn't me. Y-you made me d-do it." he leaned back enjoying my vulnerability to the fullest.
„This is what I Love about you the Most." he said smiling now softly at me. „What?" I asked clearing my eyes from the tears. „You're vulnerable side. I bet Wanda loves it too. By the way how is she doing?" he asked and I stepped forward choking him because he mentioned her. „You don't get to
say her name. Ever." I grilled through my teeth. „I knew she was your soft spot. I couldn't find yours b-back then b-but now? I see y-you would do a-anything for h-her." he turned blue as I pressed harder down on him pushing him into the couch where he is sitting in. „Stop it or i will kill you." he laughed even though I was choking him to his limits. „You w-wouldn't. Y-you can't. Y-you know why?" he smiled at me. „Because you're weak." he caught me letting loos on this grip and he twisted my arm behind my back pushing me down. He had his knee on my back pressing down as hard as he can while he twisted my arm even more so that I would scream out it pain.

„Y/n what is wrong? Get out of there. Over." I heard Steve speak through the comms but I couldn't answer. „You don't get to live a happily ever after if I don't get what I want. And that is you dead." he whispered into my ear piece sending this message to me and the team on the other side.
„What will you do? Kill me you can't." I Used his words against him. He shook his head chuckling down on me. „I don't but theses can." he pointed at the corners of the room. My eyes widen as I see bombs placed there. Shit. „What you're gonna die with me then? You wouldn't do that." I said but he leaned down on me whispering. „Watch me." and he pressed a button as the building started to crumble down. Explosions everywhere and my Vision went black immediately.

Wanda POV

I heard her talking through the ear piece. Listen to the conversation the have is making me boil inside. I really wanted to walk in on them and rip his head of. „Rogers This is enough Let me walk in there. I am closest to her." I said and he let out a sight. „Give her a moment Wanda." not even minutes passed and I saw how the building started to shake and fall apart. „Tony what Is going on?" Rogers asked and he flew over looking at the building trembling.
„This bastard placed bombs all over the building including the apartment. Damn it Friday couldn't scan them before they must've been special ones." he tried to fly into the building getting in to drag
Y/n out before the building fell apart. But it was to late. Steve came in last minute pushing me aside with him as the building feel into our direction.
We composed ourselves and this situation gave me major flashbacks on Lagos. The only problem is that there is the love of my life stuck under all the concrete. „Y/n!!!" I Screamed out tying to get closer but Steve pulled me back. „Stop Wanda This is to dangerous. Let Tony search for her. He can do it faster with his suit. Stark what can you see?" he asked into the comms. „Friday analyze the building. Where is my daughter?" he asked flying closer now hovering above the exploded building. There is no way she could have survived this.
There was silence on the other line.
„Tony what is going on?" Steve asked now sounding a bit more angry than concerned.

„No body heat signal. Not a single one."
