Wanda POV

Dear Y/n,

It has been eight months since you've been gone. This is one off many letters I wrote you. Nat tells me it will help with my emotions as a Ventil but I don't know if it is working. Every time I grab a pen and a paper I start to cry. I miss you endlessly and I can't keep my mind calm, because I know that you might be dead or that they would torture you day and night. I am so sorry. I wish I could bring you back. We all do and We Are all working on it but it's like you've vanished from our radar. You have to come back. I can't be without you. The whole team is falling apart because you're missing. I just want you back and I am doing everything I can. But I guess everything is not enough.

I put my pen down and looked up to the night sky off New York City. I am sitting on Y/n's balcony in her loft. I've visited this place a lot recently. I even slept in her bed. This place makes me feel a bit better than at the compound. I am reminding the first night we shared when Y/n came back from Germany. She was so confident and extremely attractive in that dress. She looked stunning in that vivid violet dress. I didn't know that she would turn my world upside down. She has grown to me so much and I can't live in a world where she wouldn't be around. I know that we had a lot of ups and downs but I would do it all over again just to be near her. Just to have her around. Her presence. Her sent. Her aura. Just her.
My phone Rang and it was Nat calling. I picked up immediately not knowing what to expect. Before I could say anything Nat talked immediately. „Wanda We need you at the Compound. There is something you should see." this gives me total anxiety. What is she talking about? I don't have a Good feeling about this. I put the letter on her bed and went immediately back to the compound. My anxiety grew with every moment passing by.

I walked into the compound tracing through the flors. Nobody was in the living area so I assumed that they would be in the meeting room. I walked up to the door and entered immediately without knocking. Everyone stopped their conversation and looked at me. Everyone was there. Tony and Steve standing and tracing up and down. Nat sitting with the rest of the team. Bucky, Sam, Clint, Peter, Thor, Vision, Rhodey even Bruce and he isn't usually with us in the meetings. „Good You're here witchy. Romanoff wanted you to be here too." Tony said a bit tensed up. „What is going on?" I asked as my eyes wandered between Nat and Tony. She tapped at the empty seat next to her as a sign to sit down. „It's better if you sit down." she said in a calm yet scared voice. She wasn't usually acting like this. They must've found something or else they wouldn't act this way. I sat down next to Nat and waited until someone would speak up. „Tony got a unknown video today. He hasn't opened it yet but we assume it will have something to do with Y/n." Steve spoke up clearing everyone in on what they found out. This is the first clue we got in eight months. I can't believe if it's true or not. I feel like I am dreaming but they actually found something. „We don't know what we will expect to see. I want you to be prepared for everything." this won't be easy to watch I can tell. Everyone looked concerned across the table not knowing what to expect. „Are you ready?" Steve asked looking at everyone. I just nod at him and Tony projected the video onto the flat screen.

My heart stopped for a moment when I saw Y/n. She looked terrible. Her face was beaten black and blue, with busted lips and a scratched nose. She had a slight scar on her left eyebrow. It looked like an older injury wich has healed by now. But the scar will stay on her once beautiful face. She was wearing Hydra cloths. But not the ones from the prisoner. But the once from the guards and the people who worked for them. This is absolutely confusing. Why is she wearing this. She stands alone in front of the camera with crossed arms. „This is a message for the Avengers." she spoke up. Her once beautiful soft voice was sore and harsh. She sounded monoton with no emotions in her voice or in her face. As if she was replaced by a clone. I can feel how my Puls was rising up while watching. I can see that she has been tortured not to long ago. „Stop searching for me. You're waisting you're time. I don't have the need to be rescued." her sentence are sharp and short. It's like she memorized these sentences. „We will see each other soon enough." was her last sentence and The video cut off. This was everything we've got. After the video stopped there was a dreadful silence building up. Everyone was shocked but also relieved to see her on the screen. She is alive. „Is she controlled by Hydra?" Steve asked looking at Bruce.
„From the Look off the Video yeah she could be. I can't really tell by just looking at the video but there is a high possibility." he motioned at the monitor where we saw Y/n just a couple second ago.
„What does she mean with everything she said?" Peter asked looking concerned. „Good question kid. She doesn't want us to look for her. I guess she will come any time soon." My eyes didn't look away from the screen. I scanned her frozen picture. Every inch of her body. Taking everything in as if this will be the last thing my eyes will witness. Something was looking suspicious about her hands. The team talked on and on but I didn't pay any attention. „Can you play the last seconds of the video again Stark?" I asked Tony and everyone looked confused at me.
„What why?" he asked and I pointed at her.
„I think I found something. Just play it again for a couple seconds." I said in a bit demanding tone. Nat looked back at me questioning but she can sense that I have clue with something. The video played again and I saw how Y/n tapped points and strokes onto her lower arm next to her elbow. „Look There it is." I pointed at her hand. „What I can't see anything." Steve said confused and so was everyone else. Expect Nat. She understood when she saw the video for a second time. „Guys look at her hand motion." Nat demanded so that everyone would pay attention to that. „She is using the Morse code." Nat smiled in a big grin. We finally got something to hold onto.
„That's my girl." Tony said proudly. „We have to see it again completely. We will write the motions down and see what she has to tell." Nat said and everyone felt a bit off relief that she will give us any clues on what is happening. Nat got up to grab a pen and a paper and she sat down immediately after getting them. She nod at Tony signing him to start the video once again. He played it without the tone and Nat started to write down every motion. I looked down onto her paper as she finished. She wrote down

Watching this looks so confusing but I hope that this will get us any clue on what happens. „So what does it say Romanoff?" she read the dots and lines over and over again making sure that she reads them right. Her eyes wandered from line to line and her eyes widen at the last thing where her eyes landed.
She cleared her throat and looked up to face inpatient Avengers. „Eh she said ‚It's Hydra.
Thomas and Schmidt. They will control me. Stop me  when it's time' so..." Steve didn't let her finish her own sentence as he said „she is warning us." Tony was visibly worried about his daughter. So was everyone else. „This didn't get us far but at least we know what to do when we see her again." Tony spoke up while pacing around. „So You're telling us all that We should do anything to stop Y/n? Stark are you listening to what you say? She is you're daughter!! And she is one of us we won't and can't hurt her. Steve raised his brows at Tony. Is he really telling us to fight Y/n in any way possible? „Tony This isn't right and you know it. Don't let this happen again." Nat said and she is implying on the things that happened in Lagos. The team split apart and it looks like it will happen again. „I know that she is my daughter but we don't know what she is capable of after eight months of disappearance. She is dangerous." everyone was shocked at what Tony said. He turning against his daughter. Against his own flesh and blood. „Tony she has warned us in this video. Do you think she is doing this for fun? We have to stop her yes but not in any way possible like you said." i spoke up and caught his attention.
„Don't tell me what to do witchy. You can and will stop her with you're powers. You're the most powerful here and you will go along with Thor who is the strongest. The rest of the team will hang around and try to handle the rest of the complications that Y/n will bring with her." I feel like my blood is boiling right now. I can't and I don't want to believe how Tony reacted. „We will talk about this again Stark." Steve yelled after him as he walked out leaving the team inter meeting room. You could cut the tension with a knife. This room was filled with confused, worried and angry thoughts. I am focusing on not listening to any and it works this time. „Hey lets go get some air hmm?" Nat asked as she put her hand on my shoulder noticing how I was feeling. I nod and we got up to leave as well.

We walked out of the building to go for a walk around the compound area. We both haven't said anything in about five minutes until Nat finally opened up. „It was really good that you found what Y/n was trying to tell us in the video." she said with a soft smile on her face to praise me. „You've taught me a lot in the last eight months Nat. So the credit goes to you." I said nudging her from the side.
She taught me a lot in the last time. We both didn't really know what to do but she helped me to learn a lot more about spying and hand to hand combat.
„Well you found her message. That's important. I just hope that all of this won't end up in a mess again." she said looking down onto her feet.
„I hope so too. It was already enough when the team went through everything with Lagos and Bucky."
She nod in agreement „Right... she doesn't deserve any of this. And especially not this attitude from her own father. I can't believe what Tony said."
„Yeah me neither. He is taking it into the wrong direction. She isn't a monster or a dangerous creature." I answered her sad to think of what could happen to her when she comes back. „We will help her Wands. We have to think of something to prevent the up coming events. She can't be harmed any longer." she said reinsuring.
