Mr. Secretary

A week passed after our last discussion in the meeting room. Everyone was busy with either training or trying to locate Y/n. I was sitting in the common area with Nat drinking our morning coffee as Steve walked in looking a bit tensed up. „You Good Rogers?" Nat asked sipping her coffee. He shook his head no coming a bit closer. „We actually have a visitor's." he said and our eyes widen synchronized at his comment. „Who is it?" he looked at me and let out a sight. „You both won't like it. It's the Secretary of States..." he said lowering his head knowing exactly what this man brings. Only bad news. I am disgusted by this man. As soon as his Name slipped out of Steve's lips my body went into a frozen position. He brings back all the memories I was trying so hard to avoid. I push them down every time. Every day. I wish I could kill him but that would only bring more problems to me and the team. „Did he say anything about why he is here?" Nat asked and her voice made me come back out of my frozen state. „It's definitely not good. He's currently in the meeting room with Stark. I don't have a Good feeling about it." he nod into the direction of the meeting room as he spoke. Before anyone could say anything Friday spoke up calling the team into the meeting room. We all shared a glance at each other and got up to go.

We entered the room and everyone sat down not saying any word. This gives me massive flashbacks but not the ones that you want to remember. He glared at everyone and his eyes landed on me. He looked me up and down as if he was disgusted and scared of me at the same time. He is just scum and I want to snap his neck so bad. „What brings us the pleasure Mr Secretary." Steve cleared his throat to gain his attention. He sat on the end of the table facing him directly. „Let's put the formalities aside Captain. To be honest it isn't a pleasure to be here." he said sounding disappointed to be here again.
„We have a couple of issues that appeared on our radar. We know that they are connected to you." he furrowed his brows together glaring at me then at Tony who stood behind Steve. „What makes you so sure that these issues are connected to us Mr Secretary?" Nat asked looking him up and down curiously. „There have been a couple of riots on some S.H.I.E.L.D facility around the states."
He said monoton replying to Nat. „Why Are you here then? Don't you think you can handle some riots on you're own?" Tony spoke up spiting those words at him. „The leader of this mess is unfortunately you're daughter." he looked at Tony with a slight grin. What is he grinning about? „Why haven't you captured her yet?" Tony asked and everyone looked at him in shook. Even the Secretary was surprised. „Well she is pretty nimble. The rampages startet a week ago. The last one was two day ago. She has been on every destruction." I can already feel how my blood is boiling. I can sense into what direction this is going.
„She is an offender. She won't be walking around free for long." he said and his last sentence went goosebumps all over my body. „With all due respect Mr Secretary, she has been only destroying government buildings. This is nothing that Stark can't handle with the right motivation." Steve said and he implied on the money pillow Tony has.
„She has several life's on her shoulders. It has reached to more than a hundred dead agents. She is a danger to the society and if you won't stop her we will do it." he was pissed at us. She can't be captured by the government. Not after what she has been through. He turned around to the agent standing on the flat Screen. He nod at him and he started to play video footage of Y/n. She was destroying the buildings with her purple powers. Making everything explode around her. People screaming. Running around injured and some of them laying around dead. She wasn't alone. Thomas was with her. He was doing the same. Destroying everything but not with powers but with weapons. „She took down several agents and not even touching them. Nobody is getting closer to her than 10 feet." she was now surrounded by agents pointing weapons at her. She looked up to the camera smirking as if she knows who will see it, moved her fingers slightly and snapped everyone's neck. They all fell to the ground dead. Everyone looked shocked at what she has done. We didn't expect her to come out like this. She was brutal. Killing with no reason. Innocent people. But I don't believe that this is her. She told us in the video that she will be controlled. This can't be her I refuse to believe it. „We will lock her up." Tony said and I was once more shocked at what he said.
Ross shook his head no. „No you will capture her and bring her to me. I will lock her up. You're delivering her to me." he said glaring at everyone briefly. Nat and I Shared a glance and we both looked terrified. Not because we are afraid of Y/n but because we are afraid of what will happen to her.
„Mr Secretary don't you think that you are overreacting a bit. We can stop her and keep her with us." Steve said and crossed his arms.
„I am not Captain. I am not letting a criminal and a killer walk around in the Avengers facility. This will ruin the Reputation of the American Heroes." Nat scoffed at him saying American heroes. He glanced at her asking „is there anything funny miss Romanoff?" she looked at him raising a brow.
„Y/n might not be a hero in you're eyes but she is for us. We all did mistakes and look at us. The team of inhuman is sitting on this table. Everyone has blood in their hands. That makes us criminals too. So lock me up rot if you want to lock Y/n up." his eyes widen at Nat's Statement and so did everyone else. She has a point. Everyone has bloody hands and is still sitting here. „I don't care. Everyone saw her face. She is and always will be a criminal and a brutal killer. If she isn't in my hands in the next 24 hours I will send a team to kill her." he said packing his things.
„Don't try anything." he said looking at Rogers knowing what happened a couple years ago.
„I have the team to kill." he said and left us all shocked behind. The tension was immense in here. It feels like everyone is holding in a breath. I glanced at everyone and the whole team has unexplainable expressions. „Suit up. We will leave shortly. I want my daughter back." Tony said leaving the team behind. Everyone got up to suit up and before I finished I heard a knock on my door. „It's open." I said and Nat came in with Steve behind her.
They looked at me concerned. „What is it?" I asked knowing that this won't be a happy conversation.
„The jet is ready. We thought something through. About what has been said before." Steve said sounding concerned. „We don't know what will happen today. We just want to make sure that we are on the same page." Nat said looking down onto the ground. „We will try to get to Y/n before Tony can. Rhodey and Vision Are on his side too. So it won't be easy." Steve said knowing that the team is about to split up once again. „we have to get to her before Tony does." Steve said. „Or before Mr. Secretary will." Nat added. „I just hope that everything will go as we are planing." I said pressing every word out. I know this will be hard. Harder than anything but I will do it for her. I want and need her back. I have been feeling empty not having her around. I don't care at The moment if she will be herself or not. I will bring her back.
