(Author's POV)

The room was dimly lit. The white walls and floor gave it the feel of an isolation room for the insane. Yui's body laid still against the cold floors motionless. The only sign of life appeared when Yui's eyes fluttered open as he looked around the room in confusion. He sat up and looked around before noticing the restraints on himself.

Yui gasped out in pain as the chains rubbed against the already raw skin on his legs. For once Yui was scared. He tugged furiously on the chains hoping that they would break, but for some reason, it felt as if his strength was drained.

Yui: Please, let me out!!!

Yui knew no one was coming. His chakra signature was completely blocked off, and there was some sort of barrier around the room he was in preventing him from being able to use any chakra. Also along his neck was a metal collar with a small red light in the middle. Yui tugged at it as well only to be shocked by it. He quickly retracted his hands and looked down at them to see small burn marks forming.

Without chakra, Yui couldn't even break through anything like before. Even healing himself would be too risky. If his chakra even reached below half, Yui would probably faint or even die.

Yui messed around with the chains a bit more before the door slid open slowly. Yui looked at the person wearing a mask and struggled to back away against the wall. He looked visibly meek compared to before.

???: I expected more from someone who has lived as long as you, but it seems I was mistaken.

The man knelt to Yui's level before harshly grabbing his chin. Chills ran down Yui's back as he tried to back away even more and scratched away at the gloved hands of the man. He gasped slightly when his grip tighten even more.

???: Don't worry, I only have one use for you. Once I'm done, I'll release you.

He roughly let go and stood up before turning to leave.

Yui: What do you plan on doing with me?! I have nothing to do with you, nor do I know you.

The masked man stopped his movement and stayed silent. Yui brought his arms closer to himself before looking up once more and glaring at the tall figure in front of himself.

???: You not knowing who I am means little to me. I'm only trying to accomplish my goal, but you're just a mere tool for the plan. It's best you know nothing else.

With that, the man opened the door and disappeared. The small click of the padlock outside the door echoed through the room as Yui sat frozen in shock.

Zetsu grabbed Madara's collar tightly in his hands as he looked at him with eyes filled with rage.

Zetsu: You fucking let that bastard get my brother!?!!

Madara glared back at Zetsu before shoving him away. The others watched in shock as the two fought back and forth. Itachi looked down frowning and began thinking to himself. He felt responsible for what was happening. The guilt was already beginning to eat him up just by seeing everyone he cared about get hurt.

Kisame looked at Itachi and noticed the shift in his mood instantly. He silently walked over to him and put his hand on Itachi's shoulder to help him ease up.
