-Roxas descended down the block with Demyx through Hollow Bastion's small town. Saix had told him that he could not just rely on missions with Axel or even his Samurais all the time, that he needed to learn to work closely with others. They had put him with Demyx, mostly because Demyx tended to be lazy and they needed to be sure at least something got done. Besides, they also wanted Roxas to prove that he could be trusted handling things mostly on his own, so even though he was supposed to be working with Demyx, this mission also showed how capable he was when dealing with someone who was pretty much useless to him. Demyx sighed walking along at Roxas's side, both having there hoods up as they trailed along through the cobble stone roads of the seemingly mostly deserted little town.-

This blows... I was supposed to have today off! I told Saix that I needed it...

-Roxas tilted his head some before mumbling.-

Well, sometimes we just have to work. Besides, maybe if you worked more, Saix would of given it to you.

-He said in honesty. After all, Demyx did like to sneak off and get out of having to work so hard. The water musician made a face at Roxas crossing his arms in a huff as they walked.-

Oh yeah? Well what do you know anyways? You don't even need me here. Aren't you supposed to be some special nobody that can take care of all this on your own?

-He was practically whining, and it was irritating Roxas. The idea that he was some special godsend from above to bring everyone to the salvation of kingdom hearts was brought up often, usually to tease him. He hated it. Well, as close to hating that a nobody could he guessed. It made him uncomfortable, what if he failed? What if he really couldn't make it happen? Roxas struggled as it was with the concept of his own existence, what feelings were, friendship... He was a very stressed and confused young man, and people just seemed to keep compiling even more on him to worry about.-

Shut up, I'm here to just do my job, I'm not some chosen one... I'm tired of hearing it!

-He half yelled at Demyx, causing the brunet man to blink and pause, he then frowned, scratching the side of his head some as he came to a stop. He kind of now felt a bit guilty for whining, realizing that Roxas really looked upset.-

Um... I'm sorry. Hey... are you ok? Did someone say something to you?

-Roxas seemed to come back down to earth, he paused, then sighed, mumbling softly.-

Did anyone ever think to ask me... before just... you know... investing all there hope and expectations into me? What if I...

-He trailed off clearly, this really was eating at him. It was a lot of pressure, the whole organization was depending on him. Demyx hesitated... before gently putting his arm around the smaller boys shoulder.-

Roxas, honestly, if you want it from my perspective... Don't think about it too much, ok? I mean, I've been here for about... oh, I'd say 5-6 years now. Trust me them all at the top seem like they are just grasping at straws. Maybe you can really do it, and if so, of course I'm rootin' for ya. But, don't let it bother you so much ok? Your right, they didn't ask you, and its kinda shitty to just drop all that on someone your age.

-He sweetly smiled before getting a devious look.-

Look, lets be honest...I'm not going to be much help to you anyways, so, I'm gonna dip out, but... I do acknowledge this all really is getting to you, so, I'm going to make it up to you, ok?

-Roxas made a face before retorting back.-

I seriously doubt that. Your bailing on me because you want to go be lazy.
