Are you awake yet? You've um... you've been sleeping for a long time...

-Riku grunted before letting out a mild groan. Whos voice was that? It didn't sound like Ansems. Where was he? Slowly his eyes began to flicker open, tired bright aquas slowly swiveling to look around the place he was being held, it looked to be a bedroom. A small bedroom with familiar ornate walls with colors ranging from mosaic blue to deep mauve, a window just off a few feet away with a very limited view of outside, almost like a basement window. He froze in a near panic attack and swiftly sat up when he saw what stood by the side of the bed however- A person clad in black and red armor, with a vest similar to the outfit he had worn while working for Ansem... who was this person? Riku tried to come back down from his anxiety ridden fight or flight knee jerk, but it wasn't working.-

Who the hell are you!?

...Do you have to yell? You think you'd be more appreciative to have a warm bed to sleep in instead of sleeping on the floor like I did last night.

-Riku paused at that, looking down to something that caught his attention on the floor, a blanket and a pair of pillows, one seated against the wall, and the other next to it flipped length wise as if the person who had been sleeping there slept on one pillow and hugged the other, he realized it must have been the figure in the armor whom had done so, and the image of an armor clad nightmare curled up on the floor hugging a pillow made him crack. He began to bust out laughing, clearly trying to hold back his stitches as his own gloved hand moved to cover his own mouth. The one across from him blinked under there armored mask, before glaring, and shouting himself now.-

You think that's funny?

No no... I uh, I'm sorry. I was laughing about something else. This uh... this your room?

Huh? Oh... yeah. Sort of. Its a long story, I don't really want to get into it right now, its something I'd much rather forget.

-Mumbled the other, seemingly more to themselves vs. Riku. It actually made the islander a bit unsettled, especially since... he sounded so much like someone he felt like he knew.-

I... right. Where are we exactly? And who are you?

...My name is Vanitas. As for where we are, I'm not really sure. Well, technically I know but, more I don't know what here is. I know how to get here, but no ones exactly told me where this place is or what its called. If that makes any sense.

I think so. ...Are you working for Ansem? your outfit is familiar...

Hm? Oh. No, my boss has a different name. I was told by him and Ansem to watch you however, make sure you didn't go taking off somewhere. ...Your name is Riku, right?

Uh... yeah. I take it Ansem told you that.

Actually, no one told me your name. I just know it, somehow. Surprised me too honestly. I just... something about you, each time I look at your face, I remember more and more things.

-What the hell was this guy talking about? Rikus eyes widened, slowly, he was starting to realize whom this person sounded like... and it gave him such horrible chills.-

...Can uh, can you take the helmet off? Just for a sec? Can't uh... greet you properly with it on right?

Heh... so you sensed it too, Its not just me... what tipped you off?

...Your voice. You sound like... my best friend.

...His names Sora, right? I see...he was right.

Who was right?

My boss. He said I had a connection to a boy named Sora, but he wouldn't elaborate, and he said that it had to do with why you looked so familiar to me. Every time I look at you, I feel as though I should be angry, but something always stops me. Partially because well, If I get too angry um... "it" will happen.
