So this is the place?
Believe so.
-Leon, Yuffie, Aerith, and Cid were on there way to the center of town in Hallow Bastion. The city itself looked like the ghost town Reno and Rude had described it as, and the quartet were curious as to what else they may just find.-
Wow, it already looks like a mess. Doesn't look like people have been here in some time, do you think there's even anyone left?
-Mumbled Yuffie in mild concern. Aside from the heartless, it was implied the old town had some ties to Shinra during the time of seniors rule, and one could only imagine what went down here. Cid had a map in his hand staring down at it as they walked.-
Should be roun' here somewhere. That old codger said he was setting up in the district not far from the castle gate right?
I believe so. I may end up settling down here myself if possible, its quiet. And someone needs to start thinning out the heartless.
-Rumbled leon softly. No one would be able to tell, but anxiety was fueling him intensely, it was now or never. He needed to ask Merlin. He didn't want to believe that everything he ever knew, and what he cared about could really be gone, his mind drifted to someone... special. No, he couldn't let that thought linger. Even if home was gone, she was stronger than that, stronger than him, she couldn't be gone. He refused to accept that. In response to his comment, Aerith spoke up.-
I believe Reeve told Tifa and Barrett that a group of people were patrolling this area also seeking out and destroying the heartless, what were they called again?
Oh right! I think they were called the nobodies. Hee-hee what a dumb name.
-Commented Yuffie as she hummed along at the groups side, causing Cid to roll his eyes.-
Any help is better than none ya little shit. You goin' off and insulting them just might cost us a favor. You really have no respect do you?
I do too! Not my fault its a stupid ass name old man! Tell them to name things better!
-Aerith giggled at the pairs exchange, even if Yuffie was right about the naming thing, Cid was also right, they needed all the help they could get. The Cetra woman hummed as she thought over Yuffie's words.-
I don't remember Yuffie, did Reeve say anything about what they were like?
Oh uh... hm. Something about them wearing weird cloaks and avoiding people. Oh! Right and he said it was really important not to approach them or bother them or it might scare them off... Wait a minute.
-The younger woman now looked confused at her own statement, this was sounding a lot less like allies exactly, and more like an observation by people over at Shinra. Aerith frowned lightly but nodded her head.-
Oh, I see. That really is strange, maybe they are just shy?
Heh, doubt it darlin, sound'n more like Rufus and the Turks ain't even know what they are but acknowledge a net positive of them lurkin' here in the city. Take it none of them mentioned about them causin' a ruckus with folks?
No I don't think so. Director Tseng and Reeve would have given more information if they were dangerous. Though, I do wonder what they are like.
You think there some kind of old shinra experiment that resurfaced?
-Questioned Yuffie as she lightly kicked a can on the side of the street before picking it up and putting it in a near by trash can, continuing along with the group. Leon snorted.-
Whatever they are, we could use the help. This the place Cid?
Think so, that old wizard is so absent minded at his directions that this map is better for wipin' my ass with.
