The table is a little empty tonight.
Yes, I'm concerned. Shaddow never returned with the other three... That's not like them. Zexion I'll be back. Could you help Roxas set the table for me? I'm sorry.
No, its alright. Dinner smells delicious, we really couldn't thank you enough for how much you help everyone Shade.
-The blond doctor smiled to the schemers words and lightly bowed his head, trying not to become too worried about his siblings tardiness. Where could they have all gone? It was bad enough 3 and 9 would be absent from such a lovely meal, but hopefully they would be home at least by tomorrow. Shade moved to begin off down the hall, opening up a silvery white light based portal no different than there siblings, looking around to try and be sure not to be followed. Unfortunately for Shade, a certain sharpshooter had just been on his way to dinner.-
And where do you think your skipping off to?
To find my sibling. They, 4, 7, and 10 never came back.
-Xigbar paused, blinking at that curiously as he gave a soft hum, itching at the side of his cheek.-
Huh... And how exactly are you going to find them then? You weren't exactly in the know of the location they were headed to.
Call it a hunch.
-More than just a hunch, a deep connection between the pair on an almost spiritual level made it apparent when the other was near or far. From what he could sense, the place his sibling was... it was familiar, a familiarity he had come to know very well. So off into the portal he went, no hesitation as he began searching for his enigmatic family member. Xigbar grunted, no way was he just going to sit by and miss out on an opportunity for information scalping. He dashed right through after Shade before the portal could close, slapping the feeble doctor on the back with a laugh as he now strolled at the others side.-
Oww...
Ha! That little pat caused you pain? As if. You really thought I was going to let you skip off alone like that?
No but I did hope I had earned some trust with higher ups to not be so glaringly monitored like a lab rat.
Ah, too bad, I don't trust anyone lower ranked than me. If something don't smell right you just might have found rotten fish. So, where we going?
You'll see in a second.
-The second end of the portal opened, the pair arriving right in the middle of Victors now very empty living room. All the little firebrands had been tucked into bed, and the adults were seated several yards away around the corner in the dining room, indulging in fine desserts. They had calmed from the calamity of discovering Shaddow's atrocious ability to use others voices, after having to tolerate them mimicking several people on repeat like a parrot for an hour.-
My Victor, you baked all of these in such a short span of time? How do you have so much energy?
-Queried Vexen, whom was enamored with all the cute little sweets, tarts, pastries, cakes and pies littered across the counters and table.-
Well I can't manage it all the time, but I do enjoy dabbling in personal baking when I can! The new business in the little town I set up in has kept me busy. Training new chefs is a chore, but I try to make it as fun for they and I as possible. I take it what you've sampled so far has been enjoyable?
I have never seen a more delectable Grasshopper pie in my life. I just might have to request the recipe for- 15 what are you doing here?
-Shade had a look of dead pan on his features. So, they had all skipped out on his dinner for Victors, why was he not surprised.-
