Well! I think we got some good surveying in, what do you think?

Heh, yes only because I knew where to go.

Wellll aren't you just the special snowflake, excuse me that I didn't grow up around here.

Sometimes when you speak I want to shove each one of my lances into each of your oraphice's 9.

-Demyx's mind did not take that comment the way Xaldin would have hoped, and the little teeny bopper of a musician paused, growing a mild blush before quickly becoming silent all of a sudden. Xaldin blinked, surprised.-

...What? That's really all it took to shut you up? Threaten you?

Um... never mind, yep, totally was that, whatever you wanna think.

Am I missing something?

Don't worry about it.

-Demyx had always found Xaldin physically attractive, it was more his personality that made it hard on the singer, well, more than just on the singer. It wasn't like the man would look at him anyways, he had been married and had a child. At this point it just seemed like he was attracted to a man who literally desired no relationships ever again. There was also the issue of neither of them having a heart. He looked to the side some, hoping Xaldin would just let it go, but of course, Xaldin did not, stubborn old goat.-

Really?

Yes really. Its nothing.

You are lying to me.

So what? Its not important, now let go of it.

-Xaldin blinked, His mind couldn't fathom exactly what he had missed, though the idea of 9 of all people made him oddly uncomfortable. One because 9 usually just whined and acted like a brat, he never got "mad". Also, it was something Xaldin must have said, when did anything he ever said get under demyx's skin? It had always seemed like the water boy brushed most of it off like a duck with water.-

Please?

What? Did you just say please?

-Xaldin groaned.-

Yes...now please tell me.

-Demyx took a breath before muttering lowly.-

You are fucking smoking hot, you know that?

-Xaldin just stared, and now it clicked what Demyx had thought, and he covered his face, beat red. He then walked right the fuck off ahead of the man, hoping to get this over with soon so he could go home.-

----

So, as long as I follow the path, this talisman will show me the way?

That's what my dad said. It will also lead you back onto the path should you need to use it again. Just tell the talisman where you wanna go and the path will lead you there. I'm sure at some point when I am not busy I can swing by and grab it back from ya.

Thanks Herc, I owe you one. If I see Zack, I will let him know you wanted to see him.

Thanks, keep looking up cloud.

-Hercules waved off Cloud as the tired hero wandered down the empty, almost ghostly path. The Gods used special methods to move between worlds, especially in trying times where communication between them was important. Usually Hermes was the one to take these roads, but he was not the only one tasked with such a thing. Besides, many Gods still liked to go visit one another, most knew there way around, but for those whom did not, Hermes himself had made special talismans that not only allowed the transdimensional walking, but also acted almost as a compass. The journey would be a long one, hopefully he could handle it. Within the first hour of his walk down the silent, eerie path, a voice whispered inches from Clouds ear, he froze.-

Now, you didn't really believe you could escape, did you?

S-Seph-

Yes, say it, say my name.

You're dead, you are just a figment of my imagination... You're not real.

Am I?

-The form of the man appeared in the way of Clouds path, he flinched, leering.-

Yes, you are. I killed you, twice.

Ahh, but you see, that's even more of a reason to be afraid. I told you before, I can never be erased, Cloud. As long as you continue to breathe, I will have access to this world, if not all worlds.

I and Aerith purged you from the life stream, there is nothing you can do to return.

That really is your fatal flaw isn't it? Underestimating how much I can hurt you, and the people you care about. She can't save you all this time, she's gone.

No, she's with Zack, where ever they are, you can't hurt them.

-The form of Sephiroth slowly moved closer to the blond, causing him to take out his weapon and move back defensively. Yes, it did scare him, but he had to remember, none of this was his fault, Zack was right, he had the right to be forgiven, Zack... forgave him. So, he needed to remember its ok to forgive himself. Aerith had loved them with all her heart, she had come back for them to save them from the stigma. No one who hated him or couldn't bare the thought of forgiving he and the sins of the planet would return like she had... like Zack had. Sephiroth's ghostly image seemed to enticingly smirk, as it reached out and grabbed Cloud by the chin, forcing him to look the one winged angel in the face.-

Heh... I can see it, hear your thoughts, You truly believe she has any care for you? You are a pawn cloud to everyone you meet. You are here to do the grunt work, whether it is to save the planet, or destroy it. You will never be anything more than a tool.

-Clouds sharp aqua blues hardened into a steely gaze, and without hesitation, he struck. He let out a cry of anguish as he slashed through Sephiroth with his sword... the man seeming to vanish in a hazey cloud of darkness...this was going to be a long, laborous walk.-
