Well, all of that was quite the lucky situation to be thrown in eh?

Indeed. Though it was rather fun, you missed quite a bit of the action. A shame you couldn't have been there during our little exhibition of the world and our valiant battle with the corrupted serpent.

As if. I would of shot the bitch in the head, end of story. So, they gave you a little toy did they? What's it do?

-Xigbar and Luxord were seated on the eye patched ex-pirates bed, the man in question laying down and getting comfortable for the evening, while Luxord sat on the edge with his new prize seated in his lap, a giant die that seemed to carry quite the mystery.-

I have a rough idea how it works, and it may be very useful. If I understand correctly, depending on what I want it to do it transforms, and from there depending on how I roll, it determines whether I receive the effect I desire.

Can you be any more vague?

-The blond chuckled softly before mildly shaking his head.-

For example, should I want someone such as yourself on my team to get a boost in accuracy, something I know for sure would help you greatly, I simply imbue the die with that command, and then I roll. I would assume that if I roll high, it goes well, and if I don't...

Yeaaahhh now that's the part I want to know about. Who receives the penalty, me, or you?

Hm... Maybe its dependent on how carefully I think about it? I am now curious if I can influence the punishment for the failed roll just as much as I can the reward. We should practice sometime in the training room with it hm?

Maybe. Having you actually providing something useful in combat would be nice.

Now, if I had a heart that comment would wound me greatly. Here I am bringing you such useful information on todays events and you openly insult me. While my abilities may not be the most flashy or aggressive, I like to think my skills are helpful in a bind.

-Xigbar was now the one to grin, lightly poking the others back with his black combat boot.-

Fine. No need to get indignant about it. Tonight was wild though wasn't it. Hell, seeing 16s feathers all ruffled alone was worth it. Next I'll simply have to bribe 4 to tell me how he accomplished that... well, unless I can weasel it out of you. Clearly I missed something.

-Luxord's playfulness nose dived in an instant at that.-

...I have come into an alliance with 16. I'm not exactly looking to genuinely piss them off.

Excuse me? Come again? You trying to tell me you are compromised now?

No, compromised would imply I don't have a plan.

You going to tell me what the hell you saw that makes me want to put a bullet in your head right now for possible treason or we gonna continue this little game 10?

-At this point Xigbar sat up, his arms crossed and that large gold eye glittering sharply at the other across from him. Frosted blue orbs seemed to look to the side some, not out of any guilt or intimidation from the other, but from an almost curious thought.-

You've told me yourself that 16 holds much information, so, I went digging as I told you I would. The more I did, the more interesting things became, and it appeared 16 was all too aware of my actions, welcomed them really. And now, the both of us are in a most curious set of little games. I wanted in on the gamble they are running, and they let me.

And what kind of gamble is that? Your either telling me this because I'm about to be ambushed, or, you found something rather nice that I'd like to hear. ...I hate it when you put me in these kinds of positions you know.
