-Elmyra was out tending the flower garden, as she did every Sunday morning. She was expecting her delivery of groceries anytime now from the Strife delivery service. She had made sure to keep in touch with everyone even after the death of her daughter, and she could not deny that the monthly dinner with them all made her feel warm inside. It was never going to replace her daughter, but it didn't need to. This was the world Aerith had fought for, and she thanked the life stream and the memory of her little angel every day for finally having peace. Elmyra had gone back to live at the old house after meteor fall, it along with the church were some of the only places not harmed from some of the impact, another thing she was thankful for. She got to live out the rest of the days with the memories of her family tucked within there old home. She truly believed almost nothing would make her happier.-

Um...excuse me.

-Came a soft male voice, which caused Elmyra to look up from her gardening. She froze, the eyes she saw looking back at her, were the eyes of a Soldier, she knew those eyes anywhere.-

What do you want? Your kind aren't welcome around here.

-She half sneered. How dare they, this must have been one of Shinra's boys. She had already made it very clear to that filthy little boy of a man to never sent his people to speak with her again. They had done enough to ruin her life, had taken everyone she loved away. The dark haired man smiled weakly and scratched the back of his head some.-

My kind? Ouch... I was hoping to call you mom.

Excuse me? How dare you.

-The woman got up from the garden and removed her gloves, making quite the horrid face at the man, she then paused, noticing a familiar thing behind him... a cart. Not just any cart, a delivery cart from Strife delivery. Her brow now furrowed even more.-

Who are you?

My name is Zack Fair.

-The woman's blood froze, she felt... cold. Her older tired eyes locked to that boy even sharper than before.-

Zack Fair, I see. So then you are not dead. There was a time you were all my daughter ever talked about.

I know you carry a lot of pain in your heart, and I am sorry. I did not come here to upset you. I uh... I came to ask a question.

What kind of question?

...um...

-The man blushed faintly, and moved to scratch the back of his head some, he actually surprisingly looked nervous... possibly even scared. This confused Elmyra even more, seeing a man like that looking even the slightest vulnerable.-

Come on now, spit it out then, as much as I may have all the time in the world, it does not mean I have time for nonsense.

...I want to ask if I may have your daughters hand to marry.

.....

-The woman without hesitation lifted her leg and slammed her foot into his crotch. Zack sunk like a brick. The poor man cried out and his hands shot to cover what was left of his dignity-

HOW DARE YOU! Is this a joke to you!? Asking for a dead girls hand in marriage to upset her old mother, you should be ashamed of yourself you soldier trash boy!

...You upset her already? That's a new record Zack.

-Elmyra froze with her back to the soft female voice that had mildly echoed across the walk way like a wind chime. She trembled, hand moving to her clutch at her own shirt, almost afraid to turn around. No... it couldn't be. Zack half cried from his pathetic heap on the ground.-
